Good for basic transportation
The Nissan Versa is a good "no-frills" vehicle. It has good gas mileage and is a dependable vehicle. It's not going to win any awards for style or accessories, but it will get you where you need to go. If you are looking for a vehicle to use as basic transportation, this is a good vehicle for that.

Economical, dependable, easy to drive.
The 2010 Nissan Versa (Hatchback) isn't the flashiest, quickest, or most up to date car, especially when it comes to recent technology upgrades. However, it's redeeming qualities make it the equivalent of your favorite pair of jeans; comfortable, dependable, and affordable. The car is spacious, with plenty of trunk space and leg room. While not having a large fuel tank (under 12 gallons), the Versa more thank makes up for that with great fuel economy averaging 26 to 28 miles per gallon between city and highway driving. It's front wheel drive and 1.8L engine leaves a lot to be desired in terms of acceleration, but it is responsive and easy to drive, ideal for long road trips. The biggest criticism would be it's rather minimalist interior work. Standard cloth seats, early 2000s-era standard CD player/radio with no Bluetooth or GPS are serious deficiencies that require after market upgrades to improve the driving experience. Also, as with most front wheel drive vehicles, the Versa can tend to be difficult to handle in snowy or icy conditions, especially with it's heavier hatchback backend. The Versa overall doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is, a solid point A to B car for commutes that's generous in space and on easy on your wallet.
