It is an overly noisy car
The 2005 Scion TC is an average car targeted for budget minded consumers. Namely, it is aimed at the younger drivers looking for something that has a sporty look and offers great reliability. The Scion brand of cars are part of the Toyota family of vehicles, but it packs an exterior design that is unlike other cars offered in the Toyota lineup. This Scion TC has only one trim, that is the 2 door sports coup. From the outside, it looks very nice and looks inviting enough for you to want to test drive one. The car is powered by a Toyota Camry 2.4 Liter engine and offers similar power performance. The interior of the car offers bucket seats that will hold you snugly as you take those sharp turns. The center console has a sort of closing lid that can offer you a stylish way to cover up all those center console buttons, while still looking good. Overall, the Scion TC is an okay car for someone who is budget minded and is looking for a car that can offer reliability and look sporty as well.

Satisfied
Overall my Scion has been a good car for me. I've had it almost fifteen years now. It has over 150,000 miles on it, and there has never been anything seriously wrong. Nothing worse than the breaks needing to be replaced. I feel lucky in that regard. I'm hoping it will last a little longer until I can have enough saved for a new car. I would say the best feature of the car is it's reliability. It has never flat out broke down on me. It hasn't even spent much time in the shop. For that reason, I could recommend it to someone. But there are a few things I haven't liked about it, as well. There are small cosmetic features that haven't held up well. I have seen my parents buy some cars that didn't hold up nearly as well. Some of the cars they bought, one was American made, basically fell apart in not even half the time I've had my Scion. So my overall impression of it is one of good reliability. That's an important feature for me, because I drive frequently for work, and I also can't afford to be making regular repairs on it, honestly. I hate to say it, but I've held off doing certain things, struts for example, because I needed to save money. But it still runs very well.
