Easy and comfortable to drive
I like the way the car handles.
It is pretty comfortable to sit in except on long drives, your rear end starts to hurt.
Inside there is a ton of head and leg room.
The style of the car makes it very modern.
I have a maroon Scion XB which is so pretty.
Since I have owned the car there have been no major repairs, just oil change and regular maintenance.
The care is very fun to drive, it handles well.
This car is the first in a while where I feel safe because of the car being a "boxy" type body.

Personal moving machine
I bought a used 2005 black automatic Scion xB. I loved the price point and, being a very short woman, the car is very female friendly. It's compact but not to the point you feel squished in. I like I can actually reach the roof of my small SUV-like Scion. It does very well on highway and in town mileage, but is not meant for a heavy winter state.

Reliable and wheelchair ready.
My scion xB is a special case in that it is modified to accommodate my wheelchair. An automatic ramp folds out of the trunk hatch and my chair is secured in the back where the back seat used to be. It is a great substitute for a giant minivan, however I do sometimes wish I had more than one passenger seat. Besides the modifications, the car itself is a regular 2005 xB. It has been very reliable, and I keep it regularly checked at a Toyota dealership to avoid any issues. I have still had to replace the catalytic converter, right front wheel bearing, and numerous other things, but most of the time it has been due to normal ware and tear over 10 years. I like its interior, which is very quiet when the engine is off or idle. The large windows all around give a fantastic 360 degree view. The dash has a nice modern design and is located in a convenient central position for the driver, making it very easy to check and read. It has good pickup, but it can slow drastically when driving up a hill. The turning radius is very sharp, needing only 2.5 to 3 lanes to do a U-turn. The square design wasn't my favorite at first, but now I like how unique it is. Overall I would say it is the best choice of vehicles for me out of the limited options I had, given my disability.
