2008 Toyota Tundra - Reliable power house
I love the power and towing capacity of the Toyota Tundra. I have hauled tons of stone and dirt without loss of power or performance. If I need to get up to speed fast, I have no problems. If I need to come to an abrupt stop, again, I have no problems. I have towed boats and trailers and nearly forget they were attached the ride was so smooth.
The drawbacks to the Tundra are the high price and fuel economy. I am lucky to get 15 mpg for mostly highway use and in winter, drop that down to 12. At just over 100,000 miles on my truck, I have not had any mechanical problems with routine maintenance.
I enjoy the look of the truck and with the short front nose, it is easier to park than you'd think. It is wide but keeps up with the trend of the newer vehicles. The inside is very comfortable... (more)

I had a pool party in the bed of the truck. We had lined it with an old pool liner, filled it with water and had about half a dozen people lounge.

2007 Toyota Tundra - Exceptional
The Toyota Tundra is one of the best pick up trucks for the value. It comes equipped with a 5.7 liter V8 that has enough horsepower and torque to haul just about anything. It also has a very spacious interior with enough seating for five full-grown adults. I have driven this truck for 120,000 miles and haven't had any mechanical or body issues.
Historia
I have used this truck to move from Wisconsin to Minnesota and then to Illinois all while carrying a motorcycle and a paddle board.
A Favor
The truck has plenty of power and is very fast. It can easily tow 10,000 pounds without any issues at all. It has helped me move all of my belongings to multiple states. I have also installed a removable roof rack so I can haul a 20-foot trailer, carry a motorcycle in the bed, and have a 12-foot paddle board on the roof all while traveling at 70 miles per hour. Additionally, the truck has a timeless body design and still looks as good as the day it was purchased.
En Contra
The two biggest cons are poor fuel economy and size. The truck averages approximately 14 miles per gallon which isn't too expensive at this point in time, but when gas was $4.50 a gallon, it was very expensive to commute to and from work. The other con is the size on a day to day basis. The truck is approximately 18-feet long and 6-feet wide, so parking and narrow streets can be challenging.
