The best thing about my vehicle is that it has a great reputation for safety. Volvo is well known for creating a safe vehicle. When I get into my sedan I feel like I'm driving an army truck. In my household there are two Volvos. One happens to be almost 12 years old and it still drives like a dream. I've rented a lot of cars when I've travelled and frankly they do not stand up to the classic, good quality of a Volvo. The interior of the car is slick and simple. If you like flashy things, this is not the car for you. The car radio is very unique since it's almost floating away from the console. The 2012 version is very spacious with plenty of leg room for back seat passengers. The 2004 version is a much smaller sedan and might not be as nice for long road trips. When driving on the expressway, the car accelerates very well. You don't even notice how fast the car is going. Even though the car is big, there are no noticeable blind spots. The other feature I really like about my car is that when I'm in reverse, the side mirrors will move to face the ground so that I don't hit anything backing up.

I really like the build quality of the car. When you are on the highway, you feel secure knowing that the car is crash tested up to 70 miles per hour. The road noise is extremely minimal, and with the superior shocks, the road might as well not be there. My only complaint is that the air conditioning filter has a tendency to get a smell, which you can change out to fix but develops again within a few months. Small complaint overall though.
