Purchasing a Ford Edge was a very smart choice for my family. I've taken a few short trips with it- weekend trips to the beach, the mountains, or to visit family in other states, and it performs well on the highway. Maintenance is easy and affordable, and I really like having the back-up camera. This SUV comfortably fits my family of four, which is two school-aged kids and my husband who is 6'3". in fact, compared to some other cars we have had, we liked how easy the seats are to adjust in the Edge compared to past cars. I can fit a lot in the trunk too, and if needed, I can lay the back seats down to move small furniture pieces.

I have a 2007 Ford Edge and I love it. There are many pros to this vehicle and just two cons. I will start with the cons and they may not relate to everyone. The first con is the trunk space. I have a baseball player and a baby and my trunk is always packed full. I have to make choices as far as what I can bring with me and it is not great for road trips because you just couldn't fit enough in them. The other con is related. I have 2 kids so if they have friends it will only seat 5. It is nothing against the vehicle because I made a choice to have 2 kids and buy a 5 seater. Now for the reasons I love this car. I have never had an issue with it besides replacing tires. I do keep up with the maintenance but I did with another vehicle that ended up having all kinds of issues and that vehicle was newer. I like the sleek look. It is rounded and just looks really nice on the road. I love the way it drives. It is a smooth ride and the seats are very comfortable. The seats and mirror adjust electronically and that makes it easy. To make it even easier there are 2 buttons that save 2 seat and mirror settings so if there are 2 drivers you can just jump in and hit your button. The seats are easy to clean BUT I will say it is hard to vacuum under the back seats. I would buy this car again. I would love the 2017 or 2018. I rented one once with a full sunroof. That was amazing.
