The Ford Fusion is a compact little sedan with tons of room. There is a surprising bit of leg room in both front and back. The seat adjustments are rather detailed and make it easy to customize your comfort. The dash displays are clear, not complicated and easy to read when driving. All useable features (shifter, lights control, mirror adjustments, etc.) are within reach and easy to manipulate. The trunk space is amazing. It is deceptive from the outside just how much you can fit inside. We took four people and all of their luggage on a 12-hour road trip to Disney to stay ten days and never felt cramped or had to squish our things in the car. The exterior of the car is very stylish but not flashy. The gas mileage is very good--the best of any car I've owned. Often, it actually performs much better than the predicted mileage. One feature I dearly love is the 'XX miles to E' display. It is so much better than having to guess how far you can get on what gas you have. It saves tons of planning time. I have had the car almost two years and have had no major issues for repair at all. Overall, this is the best buy I've ever made on a vehicle.

This car was my girlfriend's first car after high school and performed as expected for an American midsize sedan. It was mostly reliable, and when it did have issues, they were cheap to fix. It got you from point a to point b relatively comfortably and was a good driving appliance. It was moderately fast but nothing sporty. The handling was horribly sloppy, and the body roll was huge around corners.
