Overall Great Vehicle
Overall the escape is a good, reliable vehicle. I have had mine for about 6 months now and put about 4,000 miles on it. I have found in that time the escape gets approximately 26 to 27 overall mpg. It provides a smooth ride. The best feature of the Escape is the blue tooth wireless connect. This allows a cell phone to be connected and phone calls be made through the speakers. There is also controls on the steering wheel for the radio and phone. There is plenty of leg room in the front seats, but slightly lacking in the back seat area. You are able to fit larger in the back also by simply putting down the back seats. Some negative things about the Escape also include lack of cup holders. There are two main cup holder in the console. There is an additional two in the driver and front passenger doors. However, they will hold nothing bigger than a can of soda. Anyone sitting in the back seating area is stuck holding their drink. My biggest complaint is lack of storage. I managed to fit a few select few items around the spare tire in the back. Other than that there is no storage area. If your someone that likes to keep spare things in case of an emergency...The Escape is not a great option for you. My Escape is only front wheel drive. So far this has not been much of a problem. However, I would still recommend getting the AWD.

Reliable - and fun to drive!
I bought my 2015 Escape new and have had it for almost two years. Other than a recall in 2015 - which was fixed immediately - I have not had any mechanical problems with this car, and have put over 28,000 miles on it. I did get a few options, including the winter package with heated seats and rubber floor mats, as well as the upgraded entertainment system (Sync). Gas mileage is very good, especially compared to previous Escapes. I've done more highway driving than city driving, and have been getting close to 28 mpg combined, at least according to the vehicle information center. The interior is no-nonsense and relatively easy to keep clean. It handles really well - very much like a car as opposed to an SUV. But when it comes to DIY maintenance like putting in a new cabin air filter, engine air filter, change a battery, etc., it is more complicated than the other vehicles I have had.

Great Car, with a few issues.
I've had this car for about a year (just over a year) and I love it. The engine is very responsive, especially in the sport mode. I almost always drive in the sport mode as it provides more control to the car, and greater gas mileage. I average about 24MPG on any day. The sound system is great, providing amazing clarity and bass (which I have an affinity for). The only thing I really dislike about the car is the software. There is no live MPG gauge like in a Prius, or other new cars, and there is no way to set Bluetooth as the default media option. Every time I get in the car I have to hit the voice button and say Bluetooth audio. Also, the screen doesn't show song information when playing via Bluetooth audio. The back-up camera is standard and is great in the summer, but is completely useless in snowy or muddy weather due to its location just above the license plate. The rear windshield wiper is very frustrating in the winter as it is located on the bottom of the windshield and gets an ice build up very easily, and is very hard to clear the ice off as the wiper doesn't move more than an inch or two away from the windshield. Also the rear wiper fluid tends to take about 15 seconds to start spraying after pressing the button. Other than that the car is great, awesome handling, all wheel drive, etc.

Dealership is nice and clean, new building, lots of cars on the lot to choose from and they can easily find more. Staff was rather pressuring though, and the service department seems sub-par, but the dealership as a whole is nice.

The dealer that I had was good to work with. Wasn't as pushy as some dealers have been. My sister and I both bought new cars from this dealer at the same time. Got a good deal.
