I unfortunately bought this green F150 Ford truck from my dad for 2,000$ because he didn't want me to use it for "free" while going back and forth to work to pay HIS bills. First of all it's a big fuel sucker, just to go from Hillsborough to Durham (about 20 minutes drive) I spend every week between 50-70$ a week. The air conditioning is completely useless and I always end up being sweat like a pig before even starting to work (I work as a server). The seat belts on the back are worthless and whenever I turn or go down the hill my baby girl's seat always comes forward or slits to the side (which is the main reason why my daughter is not allowed to drive with me). One of the back doors, the one on the right doesn't open at all. It also likes to eat everything I love, I lost 2 pacifiers ... (more)
Story
One time it stopped working in the middle of the highway
Pros
It's so crappy looking I never risk to lose it in the parking lot cause there's no other truck like that.
Cons
I wish I could trade it into something better but my dad keeps wanting to keep that old piece of craps for some reason (he's a fanatic of Ford trucks). It looks like crap and there's a hole made by a cigarette on the driver seat.

I love my little F-150 to death and have driven it almost everyday since I got it over 5 years ago. It has 4 wheel drive which has come in handy a few times when I got stuck. The sound system is actually pretty good or at least from what I can tell. It is almost silent which is a plus when I wanted to sneak out of my parents house as a teenager. The bed size is pretty good at 8ft even with a 2ft toolbox on it. Very comfortable seats and I put some good seat covers on them so they wouldn't get too messed up. Overall very great truck.
Story
Took it to Hanging Rock, NC and it handled the mountain terrain awesome. Perfect truck to go hiking with because it had just enough space for me and a friend.
Pros
4-wheel drive is awesome to have in a rural community like mine. Bed size is pretty good. The extra little cab space behind the seats is good enough for most of the things I do and carry around. Never had a problem with the AC or heat because it works phenomenally. Only 70k miles on it when it was bought back in 2012. Love the way it handles, drives well.
Cons
Doesn't have an AUX cable, like seriously, that has been the biggest issue. I hate listening to radio now and CDs are expensive. I just wish I had an AUX cable in the truck to listen to Spottily. Some other cons where the scratches and little pieces of hanging upholstery that the previous owner had torn down over time.

Town and Country Ford has been around as long as I can remember and I grew up here in Charlotte. I have now bought 4 cars from them, and each and every experience was fantastic and simple. They have always been very friendly in all my interactions, and are quick to assist me with any issues or questions that I have. My trust in them is most important and that's why I continue to purchase automobiles from them!

These are some of the most friendly people I have ever had the opportunity to conduct business with. They asked me what I needed and made sure the I had it before I left. No pressure at all! I love them so much that I still take my car to them to be serviced every 3 months.
