I really enjoy this car. It's my first and it has always performed very well for me. Although it's only a V6, it has more than enough power to get me everywhere I need to go. The gas mileage is excellent for this type of car and I don't spend a fortune filling up the tank. One thing that's a little annoying is that it is difficult to find the correct paint for it (Trojan red) and as a result my particular car has different shades of red painted where it's been repaired. However, that's just an aesthetic thing. Performance wise it's an excellent car and I would be happy to own a Mustang again. I love its classic big nose shape. I have driven over 216,000 miles and it's still going strong with minimum repairs needed. I wish that the trunk space were a little bit larger because sometimes ... (more)
Story
Driving for hours and hours across the state while moving to and from college. I enjoy driving on the highway and don't mind long drives, and it handles super well.
Pros
The prestige of owning a Mustang The muscle-car shape of it The smooth driving and purr of the engine The fuel efficiency The color Ease of handling
Cons
Difficult to find the right paint color shade Can be expensive to find the right parts Trunk space is small

The downside of the car is that the rear end sits high, and the rear window is small. This leaves a really bad blind spot that can be overcome by going faster than what may be behind you. It is a six-speed manual transmission that makes driving fun on the windy roads. I've had no major mechanical issues with it since purchasing. It does sit low to the ground and that tends to drag bottom when going over speed bumps. Because it sits low to the ground, it is an obstacle to get in and out of it. The doors tend to swing back on the passenger or driver unless they are fully extended or opened. Highway mileage is really good at 30-33mpg and city is decent at 20-25mpg so there are fewer stops for gas. It has a cap less gas fill spout which is really nice for fueling, nothing to take o... Story
Irish Potato Road has several curves and twists that make it fun to run through.
Pros
The handling on curves, the acceleration, and the gas mileage.
Cons
Really huge blind spot, cup holder placement on the console, seat belt mounts, and small trunk lid.

Dealership is nice and clean, new building, lots of cars on the lot to choose from and they can easily find more. Staff was rather pressuring though, and the service department seems sub-par, but the dealership as a whole is nice.

Originally I wanted a cavalier from a nearby dealer. I went to this dealer to see what comparable cars were offered and they showed me an escort. They even told me that if I didn't want to get a Ford, they would still order a Chevy for me at a lower price than the Chevy dealer. I ended up getting the Ford, but they were very customer service oriented and friendly. I will do business again.
