The 2010 Ford Fusion was a great, reliable vehicle that served my everyday needs plus some when I owned it. It's fairly stylish, while keeping it simple, but it packs some power and a very cool and comfortable interior as well. You couldn't beat the audio system. In fact, I miss this car's premium Sony audio compared to my new car. The seats are comfortable, though you might get a little fatigued after sitting for several hours, if you don't get up and take a break. This wasn't enough to be an issue though. Overall the interior feels sporty, roomy, and welcoming. I always matched the neon teal interior lights to the blue dashboard for a chill look and feel inside. Early on, the car was easy to maintain, though later on once the transmission started acting up, this changed. However, I n... (more)
Story
Driving down to Hilton Head Island with my dad in this car was always a blast - in the hot North and South Carolina summer, cracking the windows, peeling the sunroof back, and blasting some of our favorite rock tunes made for a very enjoyable father-son road trip!
Pros
The Fusion was fun to drive. Though it didn't seem like anything more than your ordinary four-door sedan, it performed very well, had exceptional handling and response, and could get up and go in pretty much any situation. It was also very comfortable, ideal for short or long drives, and it had plenty of amenities to keep everyone happy. Great air conditioning and heat, the sunroof was a welcome component, and the audio system was unbeatable at the time. Fuel economy was stellar on the highways, topping out in the upper 30s.
Cons
The only real issue with the car came with the transmission. Once the car had about 140K miles, the transmission started acting up, and maintaining the vehicle became more expensive. Also fuel economy in the city was subpar - averaging in the low to mid 20s for a mill-of-the-run midsize sedan.

2010 Ford Fusion - Awesome car.

I love the way the car drives and the power that it has when you press on the gas. The interior is well and set to the drivers position to the way they drive. The interior is nice and spacious as well as room to move around. The gas mileage is great a trip to the beach non stop was the great part as well as the way the car drove with ease and was smooth.
Story
Family trip to the beach as we got there faster with not stopping for gas. I loved the way the trip was smooth as we could talk and not yell cause it was loud.
Pros
The gas mileage on this ford was great I think the motor and the transmission were good as well as the way the interior was thought out well done to the designers. The heat works great within 5 min it is toasty and cool if you want ac as well. I thought the trunk was great and put lots of baggage in there as well. the way the interior cloth is very nice as well I think that it goes well with the way the car is made. Ford did a great job on making this car. I can fill up and drive almost 500 miles on a tank of gas. IT is awesome
Cons
I don't think there is a con for me in this car. I love the car and if I had to change one thing it would just be a v6 instead of it being a v4.I love everything about the car

I love that it's all-wheel drive, without being an SUV. It's the perfect size for me, able to hold three passengers very comfortably. It also has a nice roomy trunk. I'm a theatrical costume designer. If I don't have passengers, I am able to carry everything I need to drive to a theatre with all the costumes for a play or opera production, while still able to use a car instead of an SUV. It handles so well. We lived in the mountains for the first eight years that I owned it. We were so impressed with how well the all-wheel drive works in the snow, and how well it handled the curves. It also has plenty of torque to get up the steep slopes, or to pass other cars. I drive long distances alone often, and it's actually comfortable for the first eight hours or so, which is much better than m... (more)
Story
I have driven it in some pretty dicey winter conditions and always felt very safe in it. Not really a fun story, but I was grateful.
Pros
It's quiet on the road. I don't hear road noise, and I don't hear rattling, whining, etc. Even the A/C fan is quiet. Its seats are very comfortable. The compartments, cup holders, and seat pockets are convenient. The passenger seat leans back far enough that the passenger can actually take a good nap.
Cons
I understand that it's actually a pretty big car, and it's AWD, but I do wish it got better gas mileage on the highway.

The best thing to me was how welcome the salesman made me feel. This was my first car purchase, yet I didn't feel as though he was trying to pull anything over on me. He described the car's features well and allowed me to take it on a test drive without being overly pushy about the sale.
