My first car is not what I expected.
I loved my car at first. I loved the style for the price. Of course I wanted a fancy car that was a luxury vehicle but I was a first time buyer and minimum wage was 7.25. I had always wanted a smaller car. I thought it was the perfect size for me. And it still is. I loved how it was extremely more advanced than my 2008 Honda CR-V. At first my car was very smooth. very new gliding on air feeling. pretty soon after we had to pick up and move across the country. We drove from North Carolina to California in 5 days. I have so many memories in that car. Did I forget to mention we have 2 dogs? Oh, yeah. we have 2 dogs, 1 large breed and one giant breed. We also shoved everything we could into the car without blocking the windows. It wasn't a luxurious roomy drive but it was actually comfortable. It is a great size. The mileage on it is amazing. My husband is the primary driver now and drives it to and form work. his work is about 30 miles away so that helps us a lot. Gas prices are crazy in California. Unfortunately we got a letter in the mail stating that all of the focus and fiestas of 2016 had a transmission recall. Our car began to stutter after a few months. I thought it was my husbands driving. Thank goodness it wasn`t. but now I have to return my car. I will be getting a new one instead of fixing the transmission. I just cant take a chance on the car now that I know it has problems and possibly more. if it wasn't for the transmission issue I would like the car. the inside is something you have to pay close attention to. its like cheap plastic. All in all if the car was cheaper and had no manufacturer errors I might recommend it to a first time buyer who only needs a car to go to and from work.

Fantastic Commuter/Starter Family Car
This car is great for those who commute, and those with one child. There is plenty of room for all the items that my wife and I needed to haul around for my daughter including a full size stroller, diaper bag, toys, and a playpen. The car gets great mpg, and I average around 33 mpg. There is also plenty of leg room, even for the driver. I am six feet six inches and have no problem in the driver seat or in the passenger seat, but have a little difficulty in the back seat. With the booster seat in the back we can fit two additional people in the back seat, one adult and one child/teen. We did have to replace the motor mount on the passages side of the engine, but I was able to do it myself after watching how-tos on YouTube and it only cost about $20, not including tools. We also had it quoted at a local mechanic, and it ran about $175 to have them do it for us. Other than that the only problem that we have had is that the motor that ejects CD’s seems to have lost power and needs to be replaced.
