I loved my car at first. I loved the style for the price. Of course I wanted a fancy car that was a luxury vehicle but I was a first time buyer and minimum wage was 7.25. I had always wanted a smaller car. I thought it was the perfect size for me. And it still is. I loved how it was extremely more advanced than my 2008 Honda CR-V. At first my car was very smooth. very new gliding on air feeling. pretty soon after we had to pick up and move across the country. We drove from North Carolina to California in 5 days. I have so many memories in that car. Did I forget to mention we have 2 dogs? Oh, yeah. we have 2 dogs, 1 large breed and one giant breed. We also shoved everything we could into the car without blocking the windows. It wasn't a luxurious roomy drive but it was actually comforta... (more)
Story
Traveling across the country was my most memorable story in the car. It was an amazing bonding experience for all of us.
Pros
Comfortable, breathable easy cleaning fabric, great mileage, looks good for the price, back up camera.
Cons
Very small horse power, you can't go very fast very quickly, cheap plastic inside, a transmission issue, would like more room in trunk, seems like a car you have to treat very gently.

The build quality of my Ford Focus Hatchback is great, considering that I paid only $3,500 for it used. There are very few rattles, even at nearly 110,000 miles. I have driven the car cross-country alone: with air conditioning, it gets 300 miles per tank; without air conditioning, it gets 400 miles per tank. It is maneuverable, has good pick-up speed and is small enough to get into most parking spaces. In addition, for a small car, it feels secure. The one con I can think of is that it is too small to give as secure a feeling as I have gotten from driving SUVs, for example.
Story
I loved driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in this car. The car is small and maneuverable on those winding roads and the view is gorgeous, of course. I felt free and sport, though the Ford Focus certainly is not classified as a sporty car.
Pros
The top positive things about the vehicle is that it is maneuverable, has good mileage and has good pickup. It's also sturdy, lasting for 12 years in good shape and is so solid for a little car that I drove across country in it with no concerns except a flat tire in a construction site.
Cons
The top negative things are its small size, which does not give as secure a feeling as an SUV gives. Also, it does not have all the "bells and whistles" that a luxury car or newer car might have, as it is s small 12-year-od car. For example, I do not have a backup screen or built-in GPS.
