I loved my car at first. I loved the style for the price. Of course I wanted a fancy car that was a luxury vehicle but I was a first time buyer and minimum wage was 7.25. I had always wanted a smaller car. I thought it was the perfect size for me. And it still is. I loved how it was extremely more advanced than my 2008 Honda CR-V. At first my car was very smooth. very new gliding on air feeling. pretty soon after we had to pick up and move across the country. We drove from North Carolina to California in 5 days. I have so many memories in that car. Did I forget to mention we have 2 dogs? Oh, yeah. we have 2 dogs, 1 large breed and one giant breed. We also shoved everything we could into the car without blocking the windows. It wasn't a luxurious roomy drive but it was actually comforta... (more)
Story
Traveling across the country was my most memorable story in the car. It was an amazing bonding experience for all of us.
Pros
Comfortable, breathable easy cleaning fabric, great mileage, looks good for the price, back up camera.
Cons
Very small horse power, you can't go very fast very quickly, cheap plastic inside, a transmission issue, would like more room in trunk, seems like a car you have to treat very gently.

2008 Ford Focus - 2008 Ford Focus—Meh at best.

Overall, for the price, this is a decent vehicle to use as a starter or as a first car. It is moderately dependable and feels very safe. The performance is nothing to write home about, and you will not be able to street race. However, the engine will rarely fail you until you get your money out of it. You can expect to hit 100,000 miles without any real issues other than the typical maintenance schedule. The interior and included stereo are about what you would expect for this kind of car...cheap. The fabric seats did not hold up well to abuse, and the radio blew speakers within the first couple months of listening to music loudly. In conclusion, there were some definite drawbacks to owning this vehicle, but it is more than worth the money for someone that just needs to get from point ... (more)
Story
When I was sixteen and it was rainy outside, I used to take this car to empty parking lots and drift around. Good times.
Pros
The primary pro of this vehicle, really the only one, is that it a dependable mode of transportation. You will not have to worry about breaking down all of the time.
Cons
Essentially everything other than performance is a con. It is ugly, it is slow, the interior is bad, and people may laugh at you.
