The interior is very quiet at higher speeds, and the ride quality is good. It seems to handle very well too, especially compared to older cars. Good snow traction with the factory tires. Extremely good fuel economy for a car this size and can run on E15 ethanol, which tends to be cheaper than regular gas. A capless fuel filler and push-button start are nice too. Relatively quiet engine sound and smooth. Headlights are pretty good at night. The brights are quad-beam lights, which can really help at times. The fog lights are worthwhile, too. The side mirrors also have highly visible LED turn signals. The steering is electric and feels nice and doesn't require any fluids at all. Also very low effort in parking lots. Brakes are smooth and easy to modulate, too. Sirius XM radio comes standa... (more)
Story
I drove across Iowa on a trip and ran into extremely heavy rain. The windshield blocks a surprising amount of rain noise, which is nice. Also, the window wipers have two high-speed settings. The fastest one can easily keep up with any rain. Very impressed with that.
Pros
Quiet Interior, good ride quality, good radio and speakers, great gas mileage, and bright headlights.
Cons
The only real downside is the base four-cylinder engine performance. It gets great mileage (40+ on most highway trips so far), but acceleration is not fast. The EcoBoost turbo engine would be a nice upgrade.

2006 Ford Fusion - After owning for a few years turned out to be a major disappointment.

Really liked the design and color of the vehicle. The gear shift being on the floor and the bucket seats up front. Also, enjoyed the 5 disc CD player during long trips. The first couple of years there were no problems as we took the car in for all maintenance checks. Gas mileage was excellent. Car handled very well. But as time passed, the performance of the car diminished.
Story
We picked this vehicle to buy because, while driving down the interstate, the water pump in the vehicle we were driving literally fell apart and the Ford dealership was the closest car place off the exit ramp.
Pros
The car still handles well, nice and smooth, easy to control. Lots of leg room in the back seat. People are still amazed at all the room in the trunk. Being so low to the ground the car is easy to hand wash and dry.
Cons
10 years later this car has cost us some money to maintain. Around five years after purchase the car started to lunge forward while driving. You could hear it struggling to shift gears as the speed increased, then it would lunge and finally shift to the next gear. We researched this problem on the internet, talked to different garages and no one had heard of a recall. Long story short, it cost us $2,500 out of pocket to get the problem corrected. With no help from the Ford company at all. Some of the other Ford owners we talked to encountered the same problem with the vehicles. Shame on Fo... (more)

They are no hassle, no pressure! They don't work on commission so I know they are genuinely trying to sell me the best car they can. Great customer service.
