2011 Honda Civic - Amazing car!
Civics were highly recommended to me, and it just took me a long time to find a good deal on one in a color I could live with for ten years or so (since that's how long I estimate I'll be driving this one, from roughly 24,500 miles to 200K.). I have now been driving my 2011 Civic for about three weeks. I'm still getting used to how smooth the pickup is (careful - you can be speeding almost before you know it!) and where the corners of the car are when parking, reversing, etc. The heater works so well that I've almost "overbaked" while driving. And I only have to fill the gas about once a week. It's a slightly bigger tank than my former vehicle, a Chevy Prizm, so it seems to cost a few extra dollars to fill up, but it seems to last longer too. The stereo system is pretty impressive, the... Story
I was really impressed with filling it up $40 dollars in gas and it lasting a long time for short commutes to work/school or long rides because it has great fuel miles and was also very comfortable driving around. It's spacious for not being a large vehicle and still fits five with a large trunk. I was able to stuff this car with all my belongings when I moved to my new place. It also is low m... (more)
Pros
This is the perfect commuter car. Great on gas, roomy, well designed, and very reliable. Great for families, for students, for drivers of all ages. Great for road trips. Never worried about this car.
Cons
The power is absent, but that is why it's a commuter car! The money you save from gas and maintenance makes up for the lack of power.
2011 Honda Civic - Amazing little car!
I have owned this 2011 Civic EX for a year now. I have to say that I am "mostly" satisfied. I really do enjoy driving the car. I think I would like the Civic SI a lot more, because I have a lead foot, but I probably wouldn't like the decreased gas mileage. I love the way the car handles and the car has adequate power in most situations. I really don't notice the road noise until I go above 65MPH. On a recent weekend trip, the road noise at 80MPH on the interstate was tiring after a while. I have also experience a wide variety of gas mileage figures. A recent interstate run at around 80MPH resulted in 25MPG. The best I have achieved is 32MPG. The gas mileage is worse when I use cruise control.
Story
I love driving this car. I have a family of four and we take this everywhere because of the gas mileage. We took it 3 hours away on a little fun weekend trip to an amusement park. We were a little crunched, but we can deal with that. The trunk was ample enough to hold all of our luggage and souvenirs.
Pros
The most notable improvement to the 2011 over the previous generation is the suspension. You can clearly tell the rear is independent the way the car floats over mid-corner bumps and complies with mid-corner steering corrections. It feels glued to the road, and is considerably quieter inside. The interior also feels quite a bit more upscale, and is (finally) equipped with a one-touch up/down driver's window.
Cons
Honda is still placing the speedometer right in the middle of the upper dash. Unless your seat is just the right height, it can't be seen. They should have at least had an option to display the speed in the iMID display or reduced the size of the useless oversized tachometer and placed it there. Who needs a tachometer in an automatic, and I'm not racing the car so I don't have a concern of high rpm's. Maybe the next generation will resolve these issues.

2002 Honda Civic - Integrity Auto Sheldon
Very calm and relaxing environment. The company sells repaired cars and let me test several of them before they were even loaded onto the website, so I got first choice.
2013 Honda Fit - Smart Honda Clive
The dealership is very open to its customers and does not pressure them into buying. You can test drive any car you want, without the salesman coming along, and you can drive as many cars as you want.
