The interior of this car is what ultimately encouraged me to buy this vehicle. The color of the interior, peanut brown and black was very easy to keep clean. I also really liked the set up of the controls, and dashboard. They did not look too futuristic, but had a nice flow. There are many controls, and per my opinion much better than more expensive cars. The performance of the vehicle was great! The Accord has a very smooth ride, while not using much gas. I found that the mpg did match up at about 25-30 on the expressway. This specific style (4 cylinder engine) did not speed up too fast, unless you used the auto shifter, in which case you could get up to a faster speed much quicker that just having it in drive. The Accord has a lot of space inside the car and in the trunk. It fits a... (more)
Story
I was picking up some friends from a concert. There was 4 of them in addition to myself. They had coolers, folding chairs and backpacks with them. I was picking them up from a busy street, and they had to load in the car quickly. The size of the Accord made it possible for them to throw all of the gear they had with them quickly in the trunk without organizing it to fit. Then they all jumped i... (more)
Pros
My favorite feature was heated seats. With leather seats in the winter time, it can often be cold. The seats heated up very quickly and did not get too hot making it uncomfortable.
Cons
The acceleration was not that great, but that was to be expected with the 4 cylinder instead of the 6. However, if you wish to have a little better acceleration, you could do so by using the trip shifter.

Story
Winter time in Chicago my neighbors have 4x4 cars and they all got stuck. My little car which everyone thought would be the first one to get stuck did not.
Pros
Great gas mileage. Has a nice look.

When I moved to Chicago I drove a 1996 Honda Accord LX. I bought this car when I was in college. I bought it used and it had over 100,000 miles on it. I landed a decent job and decided it was time for an upgrade so I then purchased another used car, it was a black two door Honda Accord EX. I absolutely LOVED this car. It had about 40,000 miles on it when I purchased it, and I never had an issue with it, ever! It was the first car I ever owned with leather seats, and it felt so luxurious to me. I loved everything from the sleek design to the black exterior and interior. The only reason I sold it was because I got a new job in Texas and I did not want to drive this car down there. When it came time to buy in Texas, I went with a truck, mostly because there are many large vehicles on the ... (more)
Story
I remember driving with some friends to the casino in Hammond, IN and we valeted the car, and we treated to valet luck he was the luckiest guy in the world to have the privilege of parking my car. We jokingly told him if there was even one knick on the car when we get back he was in for some big trouble.
Pros
I loved the black exterior and interior. I loved the spoiler on the back and always felt "cool" driving in my Honda accord. At the time I felt as if it was a luxury vehicle. The was extremely dependable and I never had any service issues. It got great gas mileage as well.
Cons
I can honestly say I don't remember not liking anything about the car.
