The 2012 Honda Accord is a solid family car. The highway mileage is great. It feels big and sturdy. I have taken it on many trips across the country and find that is a very smooth ride. The weight of the car gives me a feeling of safety. The interior fits five comfortably and the trunk is huge. While the highway miles are great, the city miles or around town mileage is terrible. I had a very short commute to work and to drop my kids off for school every day and had to fill my tank at least twice a month.
Story
Our took a vacation to Michigan in the snow. We went to look at some real estate and very nearly got stuck in the drive way of the house we were looking at. I used the Honda no slip feature and we drove right out of a bad situation with no harm done.
Pros
My favorite features of this car is the great highway mileage, the oil change indicator, the interior is durable. I also like the tire pressure monitor system. I love that I can plug a USB drive into the radio and listen to music. The headlamps are the best of any of the past Hondas that I have owned.
Cons
The city mileage is awful. The brakes vibrate upon braking, There is some rattling in the interior. The rubber stripping on the exterior is coming off in spots.

I've owned the car for about 6 months now. It is very comfortable, powerful, and the mileage is fine. I don't really have any complaints, but it isn't perfect.
Story
Shortly after we bought this we took it on a 750 mile round trip to see some friends that had moved away.
Pros
The general quality of the interior along with the quietness gives it a luxury car feel. The engine is a good blend of mileage and power. Rear seats are much better than Camry rear seats. The trunk is spacious for a normal car. The Touring trim comes with many tech gadgets standard, LED low beams, adaptive cruise control (which works well), touch screen navigation, and lane departure. The sun roof seals well and is standard on the touring also.
Cons
A top of the line car could use either a V8 option or a turbo V6. There is good power, but to compete with luxury brands more they need to step up the engine. Unlike many competitors, there is no free maintenance for any length of time. I do have one rattle that started a few weeks after I bought it. The final downside I can think of is that unlike many competitors, there is seldom 0% interest, it was 0.9% when I made the purchase so not much of a difference, but still.

The employees are very friendly and know a great deal about the cars. We were able to take a few cars on a test drive and the employee was happy to do so. We have brought our car back to the dealership for maintenance after minor car accident. Our car is always returned quickly and the cost of maintenance seems to be reasonable for the service.

The price of the car was my primary reason for buying here, but when the car started having problems they were quick to resolve the issues.
