I have driven Hondas for at least 25 years now, and have owned both accords and civics. I like Hondas for a lot of reasons, particularly the way they handle. This 2013 civic handles well like all of my other Hondas. This car is very good looking. I have the dark gray and it looks so nice with all of the shiny silver trim this model has. Mine is the EX, so it has the nice looking larger wheels, which improve the overall appearance of the car. This car has performed well with routine maintenance.
Story
I went to buy a bike rack and the man at the bike store helped me put it on this car. He said I had to buy the rack because it made my car look really cool. Civics aren't usually thought of as "cool" cars, but it looks great with the bike rack! I am in my 60s but feel very cool driving my civic with the bike rack.
Pros
I like the size of the Civics. Many salespeople have tried to talk me into an accord, but the size of the civic is just right for me because I am only 5 feet tall. At the same time, my husband, who s 6'2" is also comfortable in the car. My old car was a 2004 civic, and I liked its smaller size better. This car is much sportier, though, and much more attractive. Since I have the EX model, I have a sunroof, which I love.
Cons
This car doesn't have too many negatives as far as I'm concerned. I live in an area where winters are difficult, and it doesn't have all wheel drive, and I would like to have a car with that feature. The other complaint I have is going to sound weird, but the car feels almost too big. My 2004 civic felt like the perfect size. This one is slightly bigger. It is comfortable inside, but I prefer to drive something smaller, and would consider changing to a smaller Honda next time.

This car is quite old for this day and age. It does not have fancy gadgets inside the car, and some of the paint on my car is chipping and rusting but it still runs very good. It is one of the best car brands and types according to many people I have talked to. Honda Civics can be repaired for years and years. They continue to make products for their cars which is a very good money saver and economy saver. This car is quite small but it is good for a first car for a teen going off to college or work. It is also a good car to learn how to drive in since is smaller than most cars and you can kind of "feel" the road.
Story
I was driving to an event with my brother and we had to go pick up our other friends. When we were driving to the event after picking up the other friends we were all singing along to the radio and having fun.
Pros
Works for many years. Very easily replaceable parts. Good economy due to less gas usage. Good stereo radio sound. Seatbelt has light to signal if they are buckled in requiring safety of the Driver and passenger. Hand break is in good space for safety. Good economical car. Small for beginners. Good for learning. Parallel parking is easy with this car. Reparability is good. Windows are electronic and not manual. Has a sweet CD player.
Cons
The radio area does not have an aux cable connector. Can't connect phone to stream music. The CD player cannot play burned CDs. The gas gauge sometimes doesn't work after the 17 years it's been running. The radio is very outdated. There aren't many customization's for this car in todays time. Some times the radio can't find stations that other cars can. The radio requires a large antenna. The hand brake is in the way if you have a bag near it, the strap gets hooked and accidentally triggers the brake. The car is a little loud in some peoples view since now cars are so quiet. There is no ba... (more)
