I love that my car was big enough to hold three Marines and all their gear plus Me & my husband and all our luggage all the way from Paris Island to Erie, PA - and we did not hate each other when we arrived home!
Story
Having all those big Marines in my car for that long trip was actually fun and all I remember is all the laughing we did and all the singing along with some radio songs. Fun, fun and more fun.
Pros
My Honda is very roomy, I am an overweight person and it still fells like I have plenty of room to spare! When I drive down any road it is really very quiet inside the cabin. In rain or snow my car does not slide or skid on the road, even when I had tires that were a bit worn. My gas mileage for the year of the car is impressive, I really get great mileage to one tank of gas. The paint on my car is in great shape with only ONE small rust spot just starting. I have spent a very small amount of money on repairs for my car in the past 8 years. The only bad repair I have had to make was on a r... (more)
Cons
My largest complaint is that I feel the carpeting is super cheap and is not really holding up so well. Cheap carpet in the cabin and the carpet in the hatch is even worse. My leather interior did not hold up as well as I thought it should and I really cared for it properly.

I have owned my CR-V for about 5 months now, and my family and I love it! The interior components of the car (window locks, automatic settings, etc.) have been life savers with two young children. The back seat is also spacious enough to have both car seats fit with plenty of room to spare! The car drives very smoothly and handles turns and heavy rain well. We bought the car from a family member who bought it new, and it has never needed any major repairs in its 10 year life, which is fantastic. It also gets great gas mileage. We have taken a 1,000 mile cross country trip with it since getting it, and even when carrying a mountain bike mounted on the back it performed wonderfully. All in all, it's a great car.
Story
I love mountain biking, and it does great with bikes mounted on the back. I know this has just as much to do with the bike rack as the vehicle, but I love that the ride is so smooth that you can't tell it has anything on the back, that it performs so well on (sometimes very steep) mountains, and that the gas mileage doesn't suffer too much with the added weight!
Pros
My favorite feature of the car is probably its great gas mileage. We also own a Civic, and our CR-V only gets slightly fewer miles per gallon. It's really great compared to other SUVs. I also love how spacious it is. I was surprised by how much room it has! The back can fit SO much, and the back row (where we currently have two car seats) could easily fit a third car seat. And, of course, I love how low maintenance it is. It's never needed more than routine maintenance!
Cons
I honestly have no complaints about the car!

The salesman was very nice, very honest, and seemed personable. He knew the car I was there to see and didn't pressure me to see any other cars. He had us test drive the car both with and without him, which I loved. The finance department was also very nice and gave us many options for financing. They offer free inspections for the life of the car, and have emailed here and there to check in on us and to make sure we still love our purchase.

What I really liked about the dealership was the promptness in communication the gentleman that I was working with gave me, and it seemed that he gave me personal attention whereas at other dealerships and in talking with other people, all they saw was a potential sale, and not really the person. I was able to lay out concerns, what I wanted, what I needed, and was able to ask for a good price because of the relationship that we had built, or at least I feel I was able to do that.
