I bought a new 2016 Honda CR-V and have put on 32,000 miles since August 2016 (almost two years!). Prior to owning the CR-V I drove a Honda Accord, and thought I was going to stick with Accords for all future purchases. Somewhat on a whim, I landed on getting the CR-V instead, and I'm really glad I did. The CR-V is sporty enough in style so I don't feel like I'm driving a "suburban soccer mom mobile." The first thing I noticed and fell in love with was how quiet the ride is. The second thing was the perfect responsiveness of the gas and brakes. Some cars I have driven make me feel like I have to be either really forceful on the pedals or barely tap them at all, so this was a nice happy medium. The CR-V also has some nice features that I sorely lacked in my old Accord; namely, fold down... (more)
Story
I took my CR-V on the road from Ohio to Washington, D.C. and driving along the winding West Virginia roads was a real treat in this car. It handled the curving, mountainous roads like a dream and I felt safe and secure the whole time. It was my first long road trip in my new car and I loved being able to listen to my podcasts through the speaker.
Pros
The back-up camera and the right-turn camera, both of which have been working perfectly and are seemingly immune to inclement weather fogging up the lens. The displays for oil life percentage and miles of gas remaining are great features for a busy, on-the-go person who likes to plan ahead. The fold-down back seats and huge trunk space are great for fitting my road bike without having to go through the hassle of removing the tire. The Bluetooth technology that lets me play music wirelessly through my phone and have phone calls through my car speakers has completely changed the way I experi... (more)
Cons
The center armrest in the front of the car has a tab that opens up a small upper compartment but it can be difficult to open. The USB port for plugging in electronics is buried pretty low within the center armrest so I'm always having to remove sunglasses, papers, and other stored items when I need to plug in my charger. The fact that this car is so wildly popular sometimes is a negative because I am always mistaking my white CR-V for someone else's white CR-V in the parking lot at work, but I guess that is a small price to pay for a high-value, top-quality, car!

Overall I love this vehicle, it works very well for our family of 4 with 2 kids in carseats. The car is low to the ground allowing my toddler to climb in and out by herself. Also, the interior is easy to clean and doesn't seem to stain. We have spilled everything from grape juice to peanut butter to muddy shoes and it always comes out with little hassle. There are a few minor things about the vehicle such as the windshield wipers I would change, but overall a wonderful car.
Story
One of my favorite memories was having a trunk picnic with my kids at the park. I opened up the back hatch, and they say in their and enjoyed a relaxed lunch out of the sun while watching everyone play.
Pros
My favorite thing about this vehicle are the able room in the backseat. You can easily fit 3 carseats across with plenty of leg room for the front passengers and driver. Also, the trunk space can accommodate a large amount.
Cons
One of the things I like the least is the passenger arm rest is not considered a standard feature. It's a small, but very inconvenient thing to not have. Also, the windshield wipers don't have the ability to customize the speed. There are 3 settings - intermittent, low, and high. In most other vehicles I have driven the wiper speed in the intermittent setting can be further adjusted to account for a various amounts of rain.

I like the service department and the waiting area. There are recliners and they provide drinks and internet. They offer $18 oil changes if you purchase a car from them. There are many vehicles to choose from. They also gave a fair amount for a trade in. They were very friendly and helpful. They are well known in the area.

Prior to purchasing my CR-V, I owned a Civic. Lindsay Honda provided excellent service whenever I needed work done on my car. The staff was always friendly and helpful. They provided me with a rental car if they needed to keep mine overnight. I was not charged for the rental.
