I have a 2014 Pearl Blue Honda Odyssey and absolutely love it. With having a baby, two dogs and husband with tons of gear from being in the military -- this was the obvious choice. I never in a million years thought at twenty-two years young, I'd be driving a van. But once inside this spectacular vehicle, it doesn't even feel like a "mom van." It has everything I could dream up for my "dream car."
Story
We haven't even had our van for a year, and we already have had numerous road trips. We've gone from California to Arizona, Arizona and back to California and yet another trip to Cali all the way to Arizona. Our most recent trip was Arizona to Oregon with a baby, my brother and a dog. We had plenty of pit stops along the way with our jam packed van, and we were still riding comfortably.
Pros
I can't explain enough how amazing this van is. From the back seats that fold into the floor of the van to the middle-row seat coming out to make captain chairs instead of a complete row, the back-up and side camera... everything about this vehicle is hands-down amazing.
Cons
The only negative I can think of is better gas mileage. But even for a van, it is in the top gas ranges for vans on the market today.

When I got this car, it was already used with quite a few miles on it. A white car with some minor scratches on the front and back. It didn't look like much but so far; I've had it for 3 years, and it's been through tough weather and multiple trips to the auto repair shop. Even with all the mileage, the car still drives smoothly and gets me to work and home (which is quite a drive away) each day.
Story
We had to use it for a school social going to the beach. We ended up setting up a little further from a restroom, and some people needed to change because they were getting too cold. We pulled the seats down and covered the windows in my car and turned it into a changing room.
Pros
Even with all the mileage, it still runs incredibly well. It's large enough with folding seats, so I can carry enough people and/or cargo when I need to. There is a navigation system built into the car, so when needed, I don't need to use my phone.
Cons
It is a used car, so there have been many problems along the way. Previous owner did not do maintenance on it prior to selling it to me. He used that car to drive his kids around so there are stains in the carpet.

There was no pressure. The guy gave me the price we discussed over the phone without any hassle. Also, they had the exact car I wanted ready to go when I arrived. The staff was friendly while my sales rep worked up the paperwork, and the environment in the waiting room was comfortable. The dealership was easy to get to as well, which made it even better.

Mel Rapton Honda has operated in the Sacramento area for a long time. The dealership I went to was a fairly new dealership. Well new in the respect that is was a new location. The new location was great because it features a state of the art repair facility. Additionally, they have an express service line for basic things like oil changes and tire rotations.
