This is the best spur-of-the-moment vehicle purchase I have ever made. Long story short, my family and I lost everything, so since we had nothing, we decided to move to California. We planned on renting a car, but that is also a story for another day, and in the end we ended up with this. We bought is with 240,000 miles and have since put around 4,000 miles, and I just can't believe how smooth it drives and how awesome it is. When we bought it, the radio was out, but just today my husband was able to get it fixed. I would recommend to anyone looking for a van.
Story
We drove it to California from Missouri. That whole drive is memorable, and I can't believe that it made it here, and that it actually is still going!
Pros
There are two separate sets of speakers for the DVD player in the back and the radio in the front, so I love that I can let the girls watch a movie while I listen to music on long trips. It drives so gentle, and honestly, not at all how you would expect a vehicle with that many miles to drive.
Cons
It has seriously soft breaks. The breaks are new, and I still have to push basically to the floor to get it to stop.

This is a luxury van with versatility of an-all purpose vehicle. It does it all and requires little maintenance. Doesn't run awesome anymore, but until 175,000 miles, it always ran smooth with good power.
Story
This was used for drive-ins and camping trips we'll never forget. The boys and I would go camping every summer and pack it full of stuff, get it dirty, and give it some nice manly road trip treatment. Oh so awesome!
Pros
This is a great van! It holds up to seven people and is very versatile. You can put the back seat down and remove the middle seats. This gives you room to put a 4x8 piece of plywood. It's like a truck, and I've hauled many things with it. But it has many luxuries. Air controls and cup holders all over. And it just keeps going. Past 205,000 miles the other day and no major repairs. Love it.
Cons
It was kind of pricey at 30k in 2001.

Mel Rapton Honda has operated in the Sacramento area for a long time. The dealership I went to was a fairly new dealership. Well new in the respect that is was a new location. The new location was great because it features a state of the art repair facility. Additionally, they have an express service line for basic things like oil changes and tire rotations.

Neftin Westlake Mazda is a great dealership. They are very friendly, have solid prices, and have great commercials as well. They also let you test drive the car on your own, and Howie is a very responsive guy. The workers there really try to get you an affordable monthly payment, which helped my cousin out greatly when he bought his Mazda.
