I think for the price this car really delivers. I know Hyundai's reputation has increased substantially over the years and with good reason. It's a comfortable car and easy to operate. Whether we're riding two or all seats are filled up no one ever complains about feeling cramped. Maintenance of the car is easy and parts are always available. It is also a very underrated car which in some ways is fine with us, we don't have a high profile vehicle but it gives us everything we need in a car. It accelerates well and stops on the dime. We use it a lot on high-traffic short commutes and with that stress it doesn't really require any additional maintenance. When we've taken it out on the road on long-distance trips, we barely feel a bump in the road and have never had to worry about it over... (more)
Story
We decided to go on a spur of the moment trip to the Bay Area from Los Angeles, we didn't even bother to make sure the car was in good enough shape to make it over the mountains but before we knew it we were well on our way with no problems. We drove all over - from San Francisco up to Santa Cruz and had a blast without one worry.
Pros
Comfort Good-looking Easy and affordable maintenance Performs well Lots of leg-room Dependable
Cons
Not a high performance car Cheap looking interior Automatic windows seem to give out a lot Turn blinker sometimes won't shut off Leaks oil occasionally

I own a Hyundai Elantra limited 2011 model. It's a economical car, great on MPG and the looks. It is its first generation in terms of its designs, so it is definitely an eye-catcher on the road. However, since it is an economical car, it is very light. This means that you'll be able to hear all the noise on the freeway or slam the car door very hard when you don't mean to.
Story
This would be my car where people definitely check out and comment on it. I love driving this car everywhere!
Pros
Positive things about this car is that it has high MPG with a decent amount of horsepower. It is very light and very easy to steer. Also, the style is very eye-catching, especially if you get the model with leather seats inside. It'll almost look like a luxury car but with economical pricing.
Cons
Very light and the build is not as sound proof as I would like it. When I'm driving on the freeway, I can hear the loud noises outside, which in turn makes me turn up the volume of my music.
