Honda Civic Owner Ratings & Reviews

2014 Honda Civic - Small but reliable.
I purchased the vehicle in May 2017 after having trouble with my previous vehicle. I chose the Civic because it was in my price range and was aesthetically appealing. Unlike my previous vehicle, my Civic is fuel efficient, has most of the latest tech features, and always functions as intended when I need it the most.
Story
The month after purchasing the car, I drove it one thousand miles round-trip with my girlfriend to a cousin's wedding. We drove the 101 freeway from LA to San Francisco and got to experience the lovely scenic views of central California, as well as Coastal areas.
Pros
The 2014 Honda Civic has most of the features that I would want in a vehicle. It has Bluetooth connectivity, which allows me to play music wirelessly, as well as communicate over the phone hands-free. Also, it is a stylish vehicle that looks fairly sporty, yet does not carry the hefty price tag of a more upscale vehicle. Lastly, the fuel efficiency is the best that I have had out of all my previously owned cars. I can fill up once and drive for up to five hundred miles.
Cons
Unfortunately, the car is fairly small, and not always the most large person friendly. Four people can fit comfortably, assuming that they are of average size. However, there are five seats, which would normally imply that five people could fit without issue. This is not the case. Also, the interior of the car has cheaper materials than I would have expected from Honda, and the light colored cloth seats stain very easily.
2002 Honda Civic - Reliable car
The 2002 Honda Civic is a small, compact car. I have driven it for many years and have a accumulated over 180,000 miles on it. There is no extra maintenance other than typical wear down of a near car. The inside has cheap fabric, but it is an excellent car for a first-time car owner or younger adult. There is a standard radio with a CD slot in it but no digital displays. The front is plenty roomy and the back is smaller, but that seems typical of smaller cars. It has gotten me to school on 400 miles a week for two years now.
Story
I remember taking myself and my friends to our senior graduation night in a town about 20 miles away since I was the only one with a car at the time. I usually used my car for school activities with friends back in the day, which was fun.
Pros
The vehicle is small enough to fit into compact parking spaces, which can come in handy. It is a very reliable car that has been running for 16 years. I can fit a bike mount on the back of the car and have carried two bikes with it. The trunk is plenty wide and deep for storing things. The back seats go down completely in case you need to carry something larger; you just need the key to open the latch to them. The car can get up to 385 miles on a full tank when I use it for commuting and maybe around 300 or so when driving in the city.
Cons
There is no fancy technology in the car since it was made back in 2001. There is not auxiliary cable for audio nor any digital displays. There are no control buttons on the steering wheel, like newer cars may have. Over the years, the exhaust had a corroded pipe, which was easily fixed by a mechanic. The radiator gave out after 15 years and had to be replaced/fixed. The paint on my car was black, but after being in the sun so long and never detailed or waxed, the outer layer of paint has been flaking off for a few years and the car paint looks patchy.

2008 Honda Civic - Hardin Honda Anaheim
Everyone at the dealership is really friendly and helpful. They have a service area also. When I bought my car they didn't pressure me into making a commitment that I wasn't able to make. I was able to think things through and they helped me with any questions I had. I would definitely tell my friends and family about it.
2008 Honda Civic - Weir Canyon Honda Anaheim
They were willing to work with the down payment and monthly payment I was looking for. I was able to take my time and test drive the car and not feel rushed. The sales person was very knowledgeable on the vehicle. Once all the paperwork was complete, the sales person sat in the car with me and programed all my favorite radio stations. Since it was raining the day I bought my car, I was asked to come back so they could wash it for me and they filled my gas tank.
2014 Honda Civic - Weir Canyon Honda Anaheim
It was very close to where I worked at the time so it was conveniently located. Also, I needed a car and they were having a year end sale to clear out old inventory and they had the car and color that I wanted right there on the lot.
