Jeep Wrangler Owner Ratings & Reviews

2006 Jeep Wrangler - Jeep Wrangler
The Jeep was bought used and it is yellow, and it is also four-wheel drive. It is an excellent little car, and goes all sorts of places, like back trails and off in the desert. It is a cool little car, and it is manual transmission so you better be prepared to drive a manual. The car is clean inside and well maintained. This would a good car for a young person who likes to explore. The seats are cloth and well maintained.
Story
We actually drove this in the desert a long time ago, and there are areas in New Mexico not far from Albuquerque that looks like a little Grand Canyon, pretty cool.
Pros
The pros of the Jeep are it is a good car that can go off trail and is great driving in the desert and back roads, especially unpaved roads. It is an awesome little car. It is manual transmission, which means this car is fun to drive, and the yellow means you can always find your car in the parking lot. Although, I have noticed a lot of yellow Jeeps out there in this world.
Cons
The cons are that it is small. Really only two people fit in it comfortably. I mean four could fit, but we took out the backseats. We would have to put those back in again. Right now the car just sits unused.
2005 Jeep Wrangler - Only truly off-road vehicle
Since they stopped making the Toyota FJ Cruiser, this is the only true off-road vehicle out there. This is not a fancy vehicle, it is a work vehicle. This vehicle is made to get into the outback and get back home again. Fun to drive, just not on the highway. A vehicle which doe what it I supposed to do.
Story
My friends and I use our Jeeps to go out together rockhounding. We usually have a caravan of about 10 to 20 Jeeps. We have a great time.
Pros
True four-wheel drive. I can go anywhere and I do. I don't worry about dinging it up or getting stuck in the boonies. A real plus for repairs, there are lots of vendors for parts for used jeeps. Jeeps get repaired, they don't get scrapped.
Cons
Truly lousy gas mileage. It is also quite a loud vehicle. The 2005 only comes in a soft-top. It looks great but is incredibly noisy. It is not good for the highway since I has a rough ride and the noise factor
