2008 Kia Spectra - My feelings towards my vehicle are very "so so".

Some aspects with my vehicle I really like, however, there are some parts that I do not enjoy at all. I've owned this vehicle for almost 3 years and so far there have been no major problems with the engine. The mileage is up to 45,000 and it runs smooth. My vehicle is pretty basic when it comes to amenities but there is an AUX cord hookup that also charges my phone, which is great! The interior is very basic, nothing very exciting. The car is good for road trips, though. One thing I don't like about the car is that there's not much pick up and go. The acceleration is also quite loud. The design of the car is very 'grandma-ish' and I'm definitely looking for a new vehicle.

Story

One memory I have had with this car is driving it last winter. I'm from wisconsin, and the winters can get pretty terrible. One night it snowed at least 8 inches and I was at work late. I was pretty scared driving home that night, but my little Kia toughed it out, and I got home safely.

Pros

The car is reliable, gets decent gas mileage, and overall is comfortable. The car performs well even in the middle of winter.

Cons

The design and build of the car is something that is lacking in my opinion. It is very basic and I wish I would have looked around more when I was buying. Also, the acceleration is very loud and something I wish it didn't have.
