I really like this car because it is very comfortable and roomy. The design is stylish and not too elegant. I like that the color is bright, almost sparkly. The seats are able to be adjusted to your liking, including lumbar support. All the accessories are electronic and I did not have a problem figuring out how to turn things on and off. There is power controls on the steering wheel so when I am driving it is very easy to adjust the air conditioning and radio volume. There is a lot of storage. There is storage on all the doors, a large compartment in the front, and a large compartment in the second row seating. The seats are very easy to let up to make room in the back for large items to be transported. The driving is smooth and does not feel like am driving a mid-size vehicle. It is ... (more)
Story
I remember when I first bought my car and I took my co-workers to lunch. They were really impressed with the interior of the vehicle and from that day on they always wanted to ride in my car whenever we went to lunch, especially since everyone could fit inside.
Pros
The top things I love about this car is the storage and room. It can comfortable sit 7 people. I also love driving this car, it is a very smooth ride.
Cons
The only con is that I have to buy high premium gas. Additionally, it would have been nice if there was a GPS navigation and DVD player.

We have had this Aviator for about 8 years. It has been very reliable. It now has over 200,000 miles on it but only minor repairs and normal maintenance. I can't remember spending over $500 on repairs at any one time. We have probably only had it worked on every 2 years.
Story
We have taken this car on many trips to the beach. We would have the back area full to the roof with beach toys and luggage so you couldn't even see out the back.
Pros
The body is still in great shape. No rusting. The interior, leather, is darker from years of use but has no rips or cracking. The seat heaters and seat A/C still work very well. It's little extras like those that I expect to break first. Everything still works, windows, locks, DVD player, etc. with few exceptions.
Cons
The only items that have stopped working on the car is the rear A/C and the volume button on the radio. The rear A/C we decided not to fix since my teenage son is learning to drive in this car and shouldn't have any back seat passengers. The steering wheel radio volume control still works so the intermittent knob performance is not really and issue.

The Aviator is a nice midsize SUV with all the luxury found in a Navigator minus the bulk, size, and extra gas mileage. The vehicle comes with a nice stock setup with alloy wheels, leather interior, manageable controls, a solid factory stereo and entertainment system including DVD and visuals. The cargo area is sturdy and roomy and the vehicle can comfortably seat seven. Power windows and locks are also a nice feature, as is the keyless entry system. Optional tow packages can be acquired as well. The power moonroof allows a little extra light and style to the driving experience. The 8 cylinder engine has plenty of get up and go, but the frugal need beware of the requirements of running top-shelf premium gasoline for optimal function.
Story
I enjoy taking the Aviator into the Adirondack mountains for camping during the summer fairly often. The vehicle can seat all of your friends, family, and cargo effectively and make for a pleasurable trip.
Pros
Style Power Features Sound Leather seats Parking Assist Cool factor
Cons
Gas mileage Factory defect that causes rear tailgate accoutrement to crack Outdated wheel style
