I like my car simply because I'm a Lincoln fan. I've been riding in Lincoln since I was born my father had the box style Lincoln Town car. The town car is and always will be one of the most solid vehicles to roll out the Ford factory plant. It has everything you need from luxury to safety. Mine itself has the perks of a sunroof, the roof makes it more presidential, my model is lacking the keypad on the door but I make up for it with the key less entry keys. The Lincoln Town car not only is an affordable luxury vehicle but it demands respect on the road with any other vehicle it shares the road with.
Story
I hadn't owned the car for more than a couple weeks and I went to work like a normal day, got off went to the store around the corner and met this sexy female coming out the gym, started talking and one thing led to another. She had never been in a Lincoln before and was amazed at how far the front seats moved forward. After she seen that and a little more conversation we ended up having some ... (more)
Pros
Moon roof, factory tinted Windows, leather seats, heated seats, semi digital dash readings, good on gas, control a lot of features from the steering wheel
Cons
Doesn't have traditional keypad on drivers side door, didn't come with factory set of white wall tires

I just recently purchased a 2000 Lincoln Town car. The car had 45K miles on it when I purchased the vehicle, and all I can say is I love it. The car has all the bells and whistles. The car has a sun roof, +AC/Premium sound/Leather/ etc. Not only does this car come with a powerful V8, that easily hauls the 4800lb vehicle anywhere you need to go; it also has air ride suspension. I have never felt such a smooth ride. This car is perfect for road trips, or even someone who is often out on the town. The car fits 6 people total. You can fit 3 up front and three in the back. The trunk is also very roomy, and fits all the luggage you will need. We recently took the car on a trip to CA and fit 5 suitcases in the trunk. The car gets approx. 20 MPG on the freeway, and to be honest it doesn't get ... (more)
Story
Having 5 friends in my town car heading to California through the night.
Pros
My favorite aspect of the vehicle is the comfortable ride.
Cons
The gas mileage is the only con.

It might be a minor thing, but one major feature that struck me about my car was how different the color of it was. I've never seen a car in this distinct shade that I have. It's kind of a cream color, although I've heard it described it as bronze. Definitely not brown. It always makes my car kind of "stand out" in the parking lot. As for the car itself, I mainly chose it because I have a history with Lincolns, have owned a 88 Towncar and a 92 Continental. With the except of the Continental, I found the Lincoln to be a very reliable car.
Story
Just driving around on a spring day with the window down, blasting the radio.
Pros
I'm a rather big guy, but in height and weight. Being six foot six, comfort was a major factor for me. Any car I could slide right in without banging my head on something or sit without feeling "crunched" behind the wheel was an instant no-go for me. The Lincoln is spacious in front so it gave me the room I needed. It has decent mileage (got a handy little device that tracks it) and handles rather well for what I need of it.
Cons
This model did have some problems with it, most were corrected in future years, but not quite in mind. For starters, the "check engine" light is always on, so if, heaven forbid, something did happen to my car engine I wouldn't know about it until I started hearing noises (or seeing flames). Being an older car it of courses has needed several things replaced including the door hinges. With it's size, parking in tight spots can be a bit tricky, and I often worry constantly about bumping another vehicle in smaller lots.
