2004 Lincoln Town Car - Still rides like butter. Just needs a few bits and bobs.
After driving a junker around, it was really nice to get a car that was reliable. I have never gotten in the car and had it not start. No oil leaks. Now, I have had a few problems with shocks and struts, but that's to be expected on any car as part of maintenance. It's relieving to have a car with no transmission or engine problems. This car also has heated seats and all-electric seat controls where you can control every orientation of the seat. This was great for me because I'm short and have a hard time reaching the pedals on some cars. Riding in this car down the street feels like driving on butter, and it's 15 years old! It's also very spacious, and the trunk has room for a big stroller plus a huge load of groceries. You could probably fit six or seven bodies in it if you needed to... (more)
Story
We like to drive down to the church parking lot sometimes and watch out the windows as trains go by. My little son loves it.
Pros
Reliable. Luxurious. Sturdy. Spacious. Get-up-and-go.
Cons
Hard to park (big). Aging of buttons. Fuel economy.
2004 Lincoln Town Car -
This car is the smoothest ride I ever bought. The fact that it is a large car but drives like a mid size. The luxury additions to this car makes it a good buy. The heated seats, great sound system and numerous personal lighting features add to this aspect.
Story
Driving to church for the first time and having people stare as if I was the pastor of the church or the first lady. A lot of heads turned that day.
Pros
The car being fully equipped makes the car a great buy. My favorite feature is the heated seats and how quickly they warm up in winter months. Also the exterior color which is silver makes the car shine even if it had not been recently washed.
Cons
The only two things is the gas consumption. The tank is large but the gas mileage isn't great at all. Also the back air suspension declined too quickly and the back began to drag.
