My Lincoln is a car I would recommend to other people. It gets great gas mileage. It is very dependable and is a super comfortable car. It has plenty of trunk space to put luggage and groceries. It has a super smooth ride with airbag suspension, which works well for my husband who has had back surgery. This car has plenty of interior space without feeling like you are driving a boat. I have owned this car for seven years and only had minor problems with it. It has been used as a daily driver to and from work, as well as travelling on long trips for vacations. I have several children, and when riding in this car, they do not feel cramped or squished in with each other. It reminds of having the perks and comforts of a larger car but in a smaller exterior with better gas mileage. The A/C ... (more)
Story
A day we took the car to a school fundraiser to get it washed, and the kids there decided to name the car Link!
Pros
My favorite thing about this car has definitely got to be the heated seats. It gets chilly here in the winter, and I love having this luxury.
Cons
The few parts I have had to buy for this car were on the higher priced side and have not always matched with the year of car, e.g., had to buy a 2001 part to fit in the 2002.

My 2002 Lincoln Continental is a dream to drive. It has all the bells and whistles, including an air-ride controlled rear suspension that makes even long trips a pleasure. I've had very few issues, even with well over 200,000 miles and going strong. Being a powerful V-8, it's easy to get out of a jamb when needed, and pulling a steep hill on cruise control is easy for this baby. This car is one of those classic designs that will stand the test of time. It has an elegance that will never go out of style.
Story
Cruising in Autumn weather with the sunroof rolled back and the breeze blowing is amazing!
Pros
Great gas mileage of 26+ mpg highway, even with the A/C running a chilly 65 degrees on these hot summer days makes this a real winner! Looks alone make it hands-down a winner: ivory frost paint with chrome accents and sunroof are stunning. The interior is supple leather with a birdseye maple wood dash with chrome accents and includes a hidden 6 disc CD changer with surround sound. It even remembers the seat and mirror adjustments for each different driver's key! How fancy can you get?
Cons
There are always going to be maintenance issues on any car. I do wish they made better windshield wipers... those seem to start squeaking within just a few months, and I do wish there was a tire pressure sensor on the dash. Everything else is covered with the system checklist via the selectable panel. The only negative about this car is that I am not the original owner. I do credit her (my Mother) with exceptional good taste!
