The 2008 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate is an exceptional SUV. It has all of the amenities one would expect from a Lincoln. While there are lesser trim levels the Ultimate comes with every option available as standard, except for 4x4 which is an option. One of the nicer standard equipment items is retractable running boards that come out when the doors are opened and disappear when they are closed. The third row seating is great when you have to fill the vehicle and easy to use. It also has a great touch screen entertainment system and GPS, with the back seat flip down monitor the kids can watch and listen to their show while you listen to the radio up front. It is not a commuter vehicle since the MPG is a little low. Another draw back is an issue with changing the spark plugs, Lincoln has since fixed the problem but the first time can be tricky. Overall for the price it is a solid and dependable vehicle. If you are in the market for an SUV consider a Navigator.
