This car is a speed demon in a tiny package. Not only does it jump acceleration when I need it, but it's smooth in it's transition from gear to gear. Great for navigating the terrors of Atlanta traffic. I like that it's automatic, and my husband likes the option to switch to manual mode since he's a stick driver. It's roomy enough for a car seat to fit in the car. The interior trim has held up extremely well to the abuse it has been given and comes almost entirely clean every time in the 7+ years I've owned it. The four-door design is better for single / younger couple people without kids rather than as a family car. The trunk is roomy enough to fit a whole Costco run full of groceries, but is a bit of a tight fit with a stroller to wedge in there due to the angle. The few recalls that... (more)
Story
We took the car apple picking in the mountains. Two adults and a child and a cooler full of goodies. We went apple picking, had a picnic, and went on a hike, then trucked home.
Pros
Roomy when there are only adults in the car, interior can take a beating and still come clean, spacious trunk for groceries and regular purchases, zippy engine that feels like a racecar (to me) in a regular sedan size.
Cons
Not spacious enough to use as a family vehicle (car seat is a tight squeeze for both the driver/passenger, and the backseat).

I absolutely love this beast of a little car. Do you need a car that can maneuver in the tight spaces of bumper to bumper downtown Atlanta traffic? No problem! Tight spaces and cranky drivers are no match for this little car. Do you need a car that can handle the icy roads of Alaska without a single issue? Look no further! This car has excelled in -30 degree weather and 2 feet of ice on the roads in the coldest winters ever!
Story
Driving around during the winters up here are very fun when there is a foot of ice on the road.
Pros
This car can handle almost anything! This car is a beast! I take it off roading with no difficulty (unless there are very deep puddles). I have driven it in the coldest conditions without a single issue. It has gone over 100,000 miles without a single issue. The only thing I have ever done to this little car is routine maintenance.
Cons
It is a base level interior option so the interior could use a lot of help. I love the look of it, but there is a terrible amount of road noise when you drive it, the speakers are mediocre at best, and the seats are not comfortable for long trips. Overall though, if Mazda just put some more money into the inside of the car, then it would be a perfect little car.

The dealership was not great. The reason I purchased was because they had the exact car I wanted. The whole process was extremely tiring and time consuming.
