2005 Pontiac Vibe - Not feeling the vibe
This vehicle comes with a great gas mileage, but it will eat up your pocket with maintenance and repairs. The breaks have to be changed more than any vehicle I have ever owned. The summers in Georgia will definitely have you turning on the air conditioning but don't expect the passengers in the back to feel any of the cool air and I mean cool (not cold). This is a hatchback, and the trunk area has no cover, so anything stored there will be an odor throughout the vehicle.
Story
The only fun thing I experienced with this vehicle was teaching my daughter to drive and seeing her whip the car around in the yard.
Pros
The Pontiac Vibe is really sporty and looks great with the tinted windows, sunroof, and cute rims for a female driver like me. I enjoyed the sound quality of the radio.
Cons
Although the Vibe was a great looking vehicle and I enjoyed the sound quality, the CD player went out within three months of my having the car. The heat in the winter took forever to crank up and have sufficient heat throughout the vehicle. There was a recall on the airbags, and it took almost a year before the local dealership told me to bring it in. They lied and said they had the part for replacement, but actually said they needed to do further testing and didn't even have a loner vehicle for me, but kept the car.

The service was great. I wasn't hassled at all and got a good deal.
