2009 Pontiac G6 - Dependable transportation, but I would not purchase again.

It's a very dependable car and was extremely affordable and stylish. it's safe and a great car to travel with over the road. We've taken it to Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, and several other states with no problem. The one thing that I would consider to be a deal-breaker are the blind spots. Around the backside of the rear windows is a thick panel that limits visibility and makes switching lanes extremely difficult. Over the years, I've become accustomed to driving it but I wouldn't recommend this car for new drivers. Only those with experience.
Story
Over the years of owning this vehicle, we've traveled to Shreveport, Dallas, Myrtle Beach, Tamps, Memphis, Orlando, Miami and a host of other places. We've experienced tons of memories in the car but my favorite would have to be the trip to Dallas to witness my brother's marriage. It was a 14-hour trip and we were traveling with an infant. So, of course, we all were going into the trip thinkin... (more)
Pros
Some of my favorite things about the performance of the car are it's dependability, smooth ride, minor maintenance issues, and sleek design. The sloped hood and raised trunk almost give it the appearance of a sports car without the expense. Also, the deep, wide-set trunk is wonderful. We were able to load a full-sized stroller and several different sizes of luggage on a beach trip for a group of four. And we still had plenty space left!
Cons
The top negative things are the blind spots near the backside of the rear passenger window. Maneuvering between lanes and trying to reverse while looking out for other cars can be a hassle. After having the vehicle so long, I've become accustomed to driving despite the blind spots.

2008 Pontiac G6 - I love the handling of the vehicle, it's very sporty and the maintenance is very low.

I love the performance of the vehicle. It may be small, but it carries amazing torque.
Story
A memorable moment for me was last month I was cruising minding my own business when I decided to stop for gas at my local QT. I went inside to pay for the fuel and snack. Once I came back outside to pump my gas, a Pontiac Car Club was meeting up there at the gas station. I was asked if I wanted to tag along, which I did.
Pros
The option of manual shifting is definitely one of my favorite pats of the vehicle. I love the sporty look of the sunroof when it's open.
Cons
I don't like the fact that all of this beauty is placed on a front-wheel drive train.

It was closest to my apartment and I could walk there. They had easy financing and pretty good prices on used vehicles. It was also the dealership that I had found my car online.

They were very easy to work with. I never felt any pressure to purchase something I didn't want.
