2013 Chevrolet Sonic - I got this car used.
In the first few months it was fantastic. It had an auto start feature, leather seats, heated seats, big screen for audio. I have driven it for about 100,000 miles, and it is getting worse and worse. I have not experienced any electrical issues, but it is staring to break down. The wheels were aluminum, it had XM radio, nice look to it as it is a hatchback. Great sound system. Great on gas. It is starting to break down every few months for broken parts as a lot of them are made from plastic and are very likely to crack. It's a nice car if you are going to get it for a high schooler that drives locally, but trade it in once it gets higher in miles. I do like that you can fold down the backs seats for more trunk room.
Story
I drove it cross country with a good buddy of mine, and we had quite an adventure.
Pros
They were AutoStart feature, which let me warm up my car in the morning. I also liked the look that the hatchback has. The lights for the outside are bright and nice. The heated seats are perfect for winter. The audio system is great.
Cons
It overheats. A lot of its parts of the motor crack easily as they are made of plastic. I had to take it to the shop multiple times. Not a very reliable everyday car.
2015 Chevrolet Sonic - It's okay.
It's pretty consistent, it hasn't broke down ever so that's good. It's quite zippy and responsive, I like the color too. It's quite economical on fuel as well, I only fill up every about 4 days of daily driving, that includes going to work and out as well. My only issue is that the Sonic does not look quite as good as other hatchbacks would, its a little "ratty", for the lake of a better word. However it is a great functional vehicle and I love it for what it is, a great city car.
Story
I don't really have a fun memory with this car, sorry. I don't really have a fun memory with this car, sorry.
Pros
Responsive, economical, small, great city car, nice color choice, reliable.
Cons
Not the best looking car, hatchback so it doesn't fit much.
