I'll admit, when I saw this car in a lot with less than 50,000 miles so cheap, I was skeptical. However, when taking it on a strenuous test drive I fell in love. The car has many features that I wasn't expecting for that year, including Bluetooth. The setup was easier to do than some more advanced cars today. It also came with a built-in alarm system with a beep key. The inside of the car was comfortable. The seats were cloth, but felt like they gave good back support. It was easy to clean and maintain. I was a delivery driver and put a lot of miles on the car. For the constant turning on and off, and speedy driving I did, I had zero problems with it at all. I ended up getting hit in parking lots and once from someone running a red light, and the car amazingly didn't get totaled.
Story
Sadly, it did get totaled when it was stolen. I owed about $5,000 on the car and wasn't expecting it to have much more value than that. In the end, my insurance paid my car off and sent me a check for $3,800! This car holds its value crazily well!
Pros
Gas mileage. When driven correctly, it got great gas for an older car, even on 87. Alarm system. Bluetooth. Great speakers. No loud road noises when driving. Great handling. If you look at the car head on, the grill makes it look like it's smiling at you.
Cons
Keys are very expensive to replace. ($400.00) when mine was stolen. The alignment was easy to knock off. The seat-belt in the front did get locked in a closed position after 100k miles. Speeding was too easy to do, because when you drive, it feels like you aren't going fast at all.

I love my vehicle; it's very luxurious for a (cheaper-end) sedan. The interior is all leather-like and black, and it comes with a touchscreen with navigation system. It's small (compact), but it's a hatchback, and the back seats can be folded to allow for extra room. The car looks like it's worth more than it is, and it drives the same way. I drove it 1800 miles on a road trip recently, and it performed better than expected. I would recommend 10/10.
Story
I parked in a parking lot next to a bunch of other Mazda 3s not realizing it, and the meet-up took pictures with me. Apparently, there is a cult-following for this vehicle.
Pros
The drive is smooth, and the interior is luxurious. It comes with a touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity. It's very up-to-date with technology. It comes with a "Sky Active" technology, which is a screen projection screen above the dashboard that projects speed and directions. It's roomy when the seats are folded over. It's got a moon roof. It looks sleek. After market parts are easy to find. Maintenance is easy and affordable. It has rain sensing automatic wipers. Bose sound system. Push to start.
Cons
It's not as fuel efficient as other cars out there. There is no hybrid version for this make of car. Doesn't come with predrilled holes for roof rack attachment. Was not made to tow anything, so after-market part installation of tow wiring is tedious.

Willing to negotiate, helped me in my time of need. Friendly employees and good people. Got to test drive a vehicle and had a great experience with the people at Drivetime. I loved that the people were trying their best at getting what car I wanted and what I needed, and I still use the car several years later; no problems from 50k outwards.
