Fairly good
Overall the car is attractive has decent power and has decent gas mileage. the car style doesn’t look like a typical midsize car and has smooth edged look that makes it look modern and almost a bit more sporty. The car has decent power for a midsize car, accelerating responds well, and handling is good as well. The city mileage is not that great, it should be about 21 miles per gallon but can get lower down to about 16 mpg somewhat often. If driving on a highway with little or no traffic then it gets good mileage often pushing 30 miles per gallon. Inside the car the driver’s seat and passenger seat feel a bit low and can get a bit uncomfortable with your legs. The backseats are more comfortable. The trunk has a good amount of room and hasn’t been a cause of trouble, but you won’t be fitting a large bike in it. The engine is not too loud and is on the deeper end in terms of noise. Overall a slightly above average mid size car with better appearance than most.

I've had countless problems with this vehicle.
I like the design of the 2002 Altima. I feel that they developed a new design which many companies seemed to have followed. It is definitely a model that is unique and innovative. The cosmetics of the vehicle are great, however, the engine and drive train is not the best Nissan has designed.
