I like this car because the engine is quiet and the ride is very smooth. Although all my kids drive their own cars, they still like to use my Pathfinder because of the comfy ride and the great visibility (seeing above traffic). This car is also very powerful. If need to make a quick lane change, I can rely on it.
Story
We had an unexpected snowfall and it did great! I wouldn't know because my husband and kids monopolized it the whole time. I didn't get a chance to drive it again until all the snow melted.
Pros
The seats are very comfortable while also giving good support. I love the heated seats my Pathfinder came with, especially after long day at work. For a fairly large SUV I find it very easy to handle and park, surprisingly. Since the CD Player is located in the back, I don't have to worry about my kids trying to change the CD's while they're driving it when they do borrow it. I think it is a great safety feature. Mine does have a factory installed Navigation System so maybe they didn't have room in the dashboard, but nonetheless, it eliminates another driver distraction. The air conditioni... (more)
Cons
So as much as I really love my Pathfinder, the gas mileage is terrible. If I didn't work five miles from my house I wouldn't have bought it. Also, the buttons for heat/air conditioning are very flimsy. One button broke off, so I took it to the dealership and they said it would cost me $500.00 just to look at it. I've found a way to get around it, but I've noticed some of the other buttons I use are starting to feel loose. I also had to replace the valve cover gaskets.

1995 Nissan Pathfinder - A car to get you from A to B.

I live in a small town, so a dated Nissan Pathfinder is a great way to get someone from point A to point B. I also come from a place where there are a lot of opportunities to do recreational activities such as hiking or skiing, so the space in the Nissan is perfect. I am still a student, so this is a good car for the time being, though I definitely think I'm going to invest in a new car later.
Story
I love listening to music, and one time me and my friend took my car down the I-5 from Washington to southern California just listening to music and camping.
Pros
The Nissan Pathfinder has a lot of space. It also has a sleek look to the exterior and interior which I like. I also enjoy that it comes in manual transmission, because I prefer that over automatic. It's also quite comfy on the inside and has a sleek design for all the interior aesthetics.
Cons
The car gets okay gas mileage, and it's for this reason that I know that I will change cars later. I also don't trust how old it is.
