2012 Nissan JUKE - Mostly great
I've owned many vehicles, but this is one of my favorites. The body styling is definitely polarizing--most people either love it or hate it. I'm one that loves it (obviously, or I wouldn't have purchased it!)... I was intrigued with the body styling when it first came out, so when it came time for a new car (I get bored with my vehicles rather quickly), this was one of the first that I researched. There were others that I researched at the time, but this one won hands-down. I feel in love with it on the test drive, and it was "cool" enough to be a possible hand-me-down for my son when the time comes. The all wheel drive is fantastic. Story
My best friend and I took a road trip from Washington to Texas to Chicago to Washington in this vehicle. We fit a month's worth of luggage and his bike in the back with no problems. Lots of great memories of flying down the highway with the sunroof open.
Pros
The good: a lot of bang for your buck! Heated leather seats, satellite radio, navigation, all wheel drive (which you can change to FWD with the click of a button), decent MPG... I really do like this car. It's a comfortable ride for me, but my husband (6'1) finds it a bit cramped.
Cons
First, it doesn't have an armrest. I can't even recall another vehicle that I've owned not having one, and it's at least mildly annoying. Second, it is very limited on storage space. Glove box is on the small size, small cubbies in the doors, and one small hole in the middle between the front seats. A center console with an armrest on top would fix this problem! Third, there is no overhead lighting for the back seat. This is extremely frustrating! If the kids drop something on the floor at night, we have to use our cell phones' lights to find it.
