Best car with good fuel consumption.
The 2015 Honda Fit features a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine generating 130 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on LX and EX models, while a continuously variable automatic transmission is optional.

I have had this car for five years and put 60,000 miles on it. It has seen me through two long distance moves, and I have had no issues with it. It still drives like the first day I got it, and other than routine maintenance, I have not needed any work on it. The gas mileage is excellent, averaging 30 mpg in city driving and 35 mpg on the highway. Despite being a fairly compact car, it can comfortably seat four adults. My friend who is 6'6" has even ridden in it with no complaints. With the seats folded down, you can fit an impressive amount of stuff in the car. The overall performance such as acceleration is good - it will get you up to highway speeds in an efficient manner, but obviously it is not a "higher performance" sports car. Being a small car, it is incredibly maneuverable and can fit into tight parking spaces. Often I don't even need to parallel park, I can just pull in to a street-side space. The car is nothing fancy to look at, but that is what one expects from a Honda - you buy it for reliability not classiness, and on that account it lives up to all expectations. The interior is your basic cloth seating, but both the driver and passenger seats are comfortable. Obviously it is a 2-wheel drive, low clearance vehicle, but as an avid hiker, I have driven it on moderately rough Forest Service roads and it makes it just fine.
