Fun Style But Costly Relationship
My 2005 Volkswagen Jetta was my first purchase as an "adult" and I was initially very happy with my purchase. I was beyond excited to finally have a Volkswagen to call my own as I had always admired the style of the vehicles and the fun character of the company. I put a good number of miles on my Jetta within the first year of ownership as I drove back and fourth between my parents house and the university that I attended.

Cute, well made, quiet ride.
I love my vehicle because the first owner put a lot of after market work into the vehicle truly increasing the appearance and making the car more unique. I love that my car is smarter than most cars that are 2011 including the push to start and keyless entry. I haven't ran into anything I don't like about the car other than how if I don't seem to drive it every day that it doesn't always want to start right away so I have to really hold the start button because if I let go the engine will flood, which has happened before. The quality is great because it is diesel it gets amazing gas mileage so I do not have to fill up as much as my boyfriend does with his gas powered car. It performs great, sometimes a little shifty when I get down to the lower gears or in stop and go traffic but any car has the same problem. I love how protected my car is under hood with extra padding and engine/battery covers making the road trips a lot quieter. I also love the interior being a mixed tone, I've heard it refereed to as caramel macchiato, with the tan and black leather interior. When car shopping, if I was going to go with a lighter color I wanted it to be leather so any spill could be more easily cleaned up, which any spill thankfully hasn't happened yet.
