The vehicle is amazing. I like the driving speed and the way it handles. I find it to be smooth and very comfortable. It doesn't have the disconnect from the smaller compact cars. I like the speakers in the vehicle. I find the sound not evenly displaced. The car has exceptional performance on the highway, not too fast but not too slow. I really enjoy the size it has in the trunk. I transported a carrier cage for my pet, and it fit perfectly especially since I have large dog. The turn key is great and convenient.
Story
We moved across two states, and the Rogue was perfect fit for our dog to carry in his carrier cage. The cage is pretty big, and we're glad it fit in the Rogue. Otherwise, we would have to have him in the backseat, and the room there is very small. It was a great trip, and the Rogue made it possible.
Pros
The size is great for an SUV. It is not a big clunker but not a compact car. I felt like I was able to see the road ahead in case of car crashes or other drivers. I have great vision of the road and the highway.
Cons
The speakers were very low. I usually listen to music with the bass turned all the way up; it didn't have much bass to it.

2017 Nissan Rogue - Great features with a near-perfect ride.

When I purchased a crossover, I was expecting a fairly substantial drop in mileage, but was surprised to find that I’ve only lost about 5-7 MPG in comparison to my compact. Transmission is smooth, turns are tight, my only complaint being that when braking at high speeds, the ABS system becomes very noticeable. My Nissan Rogue came with all of the bells and whistles I was hoping for in a newer model, and I love it so far.
Story
Recently, my father and I took our first mountain drive in my new car. In the past, we drove my old Civic, which was reliable but had no bells and whistles. Having all of my favorite mountain tunes on Bluetooth, ready to go, in my new spacious car was so much more enjoyable.
Pros
Driving is a breeze, with lovely handling for a crossover and fantastic mileage. Blind spot indicators help me to feel safe when changing lanes at high speeds, and the backup camera system includes a dual display that shows the position of the car from above so you may see it in relation to other objects. The Bluetooth system is superb, as are the creature comforts like the seats and air system.
Cons
While driving at high speeds, braking feels unpleasant. It may be the ABS system kicking in, but one can feel a slight but consistent shimmy until you let up or are down at a lower speed.
