I purchased my 2012 Nissan Versa SL Hatchback in the Fall of 2012 and have been happy with the purchase ever since. It is fairly fuel efficient and handles well in a variety of conditions. I lived in New England for the last 3 years and it withstood some fairly snowy winters pretty well. For the price, the quality of the vehicle is very good. I haven't had any major issues with the vehicle since its purchase. The only things I disliked were cosmetic. The paint seemed to chip in a few spots on the hood and start to rust, which I haven't had happen with any of the other cars I've owned. That may just be circumstance, however. Maybe small stones or ice related. (I had also not lived in New England before this, mind you). One of the other great things about the hatchback is the room! It is surprising for such a little car. My boyfriend and I ski and when we don't want to pay for gas to take his gas guzzling Chevy, we can fit three pairs of skis, our boot bags, and lots of other luggage inside the car. (I don't have a Thule rack... Yet). For a young active person, this car is really pretty awesome.
