2012 Nissan Versa - Good value
I purchased my 2012 Nissan Versa SL Hatchback in the Fall of 2012 and have been happy with the purchase ever since. It is fairly fuel efficient and handles well in a variety of conditions. I lived in New England for the last 3 years and it withstood some fairly snowy winters pretty well. For the price, the quality of the vehicle is very good. I haven't had any major issues with the vehicle since its purchase. The only things I disliked were cosmetic. The paint seemed to chip in a few spots on the hood and start to rust, which I haven't had happen with any of the other cars I've owned. That may just be circumstance, however. Maybe small stones or ice related. (I had also not lived in New England before this, mind you). One of the other great things about the hatchback is the room! It is... (more)
Story
I have purchased some pretty big items from Ikea and have been unable to get them to fit!
Pros
Price, storage space, comfort, added features such as built in GPS.
Cons
Cosmetic: Paint chipped and rusted in spots on hood, and front bumper requiring adjustment.
2012 Nissan Versa - Great starter car
This was the first car I ever owned. It's great on mileage, and I rarely had any expensive maintenance issues. It gets me to school, work and everyday shopping/errands. I paid $200 a month for five years and now currently own my car. The pro of this was I am now an owner of my car; however, the con is it's a great responsibility to maintain the upkeep.
Story
I did a lot of recreational use in my car (I was a newbie to smoking) and then puking afterwards. Going on late night car rides with friends and listening to music. Picking up food, for binge sessions with friends.
Pros
This car has great mileage, an iPod/Bluetooth system, cruise control, and automated mirrors.
Cons
Not too many cons but more so physical cons. One physical con was the dent on the passengers side as well as a scratch on the bumper. Tires weren't in great condition either.
