The 2001 Saturn SC2 was the introduction of Saturn's new brand of sport coupe sedans. Upon receiving this vehicle, I knew immediately that the style and comfort it provided was a clear mask for the issues that would soon come to light. Over the entire course of owning this car, I knew three things. First, the engine is a fickle creature. You never fail to find something wrong with it. There was a saying, when the check engine light finally turns off, then you know something bad happened. Second, the style was just a visage. The vehicle brought with it the question of, 'Why?' wherever you went. Specifically, the suicide door that was more trouble than style. And lastly, cheap! Parts were cheap, which made it more bearable, but the number of repairs caught up to regularly priced vehicles.
Story
I took a road trip and slept in the vehicle for two weeks. It was very cramped but felt home-y.
Pros
It was great and affordable on gas. I never had any complaints in this department.
Cons
The vehicle overall was a disappointment. Engine repairs, oil leaks, electrical issues, and dangerous ride ability all were concerns.

I think this car has a solid build. I have driven this car over 90,000 miles. I have only had to do routine maintenance. I had to replace the radiator. That is it. No electrical problems what so ever. No rust. Paint is still nice.
Story
I took my son to the beach for the first time in this car and took really nice pictures of him getting out the car.
Pros
This car has a great solid build. I love how much room is in this car. I fit myself, my husband ( he is 6'6"), My son and two of his friends. I get great gas mileage. 21+ To the gallon.
Cons
The only thing I can say about the car that is bad is that it does seem to lose oil. It doesn't leak. No spots on the concrete. So I assume that it is being burned.
