2014 Toyota Prius - Great car that doesn't go far
This is the first hybrid vehicle I've ever owned. I honestly love the color and the shape of the car, but the gas mileage and drive is great too.
Story
Sometimes when I pull up to stop lights, other Priuses, especially ones that are my same color of car, will wave at me. I've had this done with my other car, a Subaru. I guess the owners feel a certain camaraderie.
Pros
I really like the color of the vehicle and feel it is a unique color. I liked the price for the vehicle; I felt that it was a good price for a hybrid. I like the gas mileage; I only have to fill up the tank about once every three weeks. I also like that the windows are tinted. It has a back-up camera which is a total necessity for me, and it is a cute car. I also like the way that the dash looks; it kind of looks like a space ship or something like that. Everyone that gets in the car is impressed.
Cons
The negative things are mostly that it doesn't go very fast, but that's to be expected. I wish the "battery mode" was a little more reliable. It takes forever to speed up, so often times you have people in big trucks behind you honking the horn or complaining. But really I want to treat the car nicely and not put it into overdrive every time someone wants to follow too closely. There are somethings that I like and some things that I don't, but overall, I think it's a good car.
2008 Toyota Prius - Tried and true Toyota
The Prius that I have was bought by my mother originally, but I have been driving it since I received my license. This car has seen me through it all and literally been through the mud with me. While it is a lighter vehicle, it's well built and feels safe, secure, and sturdy. My Prius is getting up there in years, but when it comes time for it to retire, I will be adding a new Prius to the family.
Story
Having had this car both through high school and college there are so many memories. The most special, though, are also the most simple. Late night trips to McDonalds for ice cream cones at 2 a.m. with friends or driving around Orlando with roommates blasting OKGO. This car holds so many memories.
Pros
Gas consumption is low and miles per gallon are high, so it is ideal for anyone who is struggling with income (i.e., students, recent grads, single parents, etc.) but should be a pro to all. The car itself is incredibly roomy, not only in that it is comfortable for a family of five but is also has a shocking amount of space in the trunk thanks to the hatchback.
Cons
The top con for this vehicle is the maintenance. This car has held up beautifully, but after about ten years, the car does have both the normal wear and tear combined with the specific needs of an older hybrid. I fear that the battery will eventually go bad, and I will then need to chose between trading in my vehicle or replacing a part worth more than the car.

2014 Toyota Camry - Phillips Toyota Leesburg
They're personal and honest (my family has been buying cars from them for years). Even though I'm fairly young and a female, I never felt intimidated or belittled. I was treated fairly and they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need (or want). They didn't try to take advantage of me or anything, which is unusual given my experiences at other dealerships.
2003 Toyota Camry - Holler Honda Winter Park
They made the care buying process simple and straight-forward. The car was already at a no-haggle price. They picked up the trade in without issue. The waiting area is clean. The area for children is thoughtful.
