The Toyota Sienna van is a reliable vehicle, especially if you're looking for one to transport a lot of items/luggage around and a lot of people. The style of the car is simple and makes it unique; everyone knows that it's a Toyota and it isn't too fancy or simple. It's perfect. You can take the two seats in the back out if you aren't driving too many people and need more space to carry luggage. It would be hard at times to hold the gas pedal and accelerate the van, but that's understandable as it requires a lot of force to push a heavy load. I didn't have to take the van to the repair shop very often; I've only had to do it about once a year and it would be perfectly fine.

Pros
My favorite features for this van are that it can be a smooth ride, it has a lot of control when it comes to maneuvering around, and when you want to brake hard in time, you do it. It won't skid if you're going to fast.
Cons
The negative things about this vehicle were that it has a really bad mileage (about 26 mpg as expected for a van) and is very sensitive to tire pressure.

This car was purchased for a growing family - ultimately ending up with four children - many in booster or car seats at the same time and there was plenty of room. The car rides smoothly even after so many years and personally I think it has many more years to go. We have been hard on this car. Like I said, four children and add one dog who lives to ride in the car with his head out the window. The battery has been replaced a few times, the timing belt at about 100,000 miles and the brakes replaced a few times. We took this camping many times and often one or two children opted to sleep in the spacious car rather than the tent.
Story
The first time we went to Disneyland. It was a great trip. left so early in the morning that the kids were still asleep in the car. I watched the sun come up and very glad to have a great family car for a great trip.
Pros
Plenty of room for the family. Each child could comfortable sit in a window seat with a seat free seat in between them. Many safety features, including child-proof doors and windows. The nice big back window provides great vision. There are an abundance of cup holders.
Cons
These are big cars and built before the advent of back-up cameras - that would have been a great feature. The passenger side sliding door is electric but the driver side back door nor is the lift gate - that would have been a nice feature. The tire pressure light needs to be reset after every tire fill in order to function well. We always forget to do that so the light pops on.

It is closer to my wife's work and she needed a car fast so I thought we had to buy fast because she did not have a car for work yet. We were looking at different cars, and finally the Prius got our attention. We wanted a gas efficient car. The Prius was a perfect match with its price and still new. We were struggle with the price that the dealer asked. After a few negotiations, the dealer and I had a compromise about the price, $15,000.
