Honda Odyssey is a great vehicle. It is very spacious and gives more mileage. It is always best for the long run. It is a minivan with all upgrades. There is nothing to dislike as the newer models are compatible to any attachments and upgrades. It grew in width and weight but retained the previous generation's length and interior space. Honda's first minivan — based on the Accord platform, with a 4-cylinder engine, all-disc anti-lock braking, all wishbone suspension, and a four-speed automatic transmission with a steering-column-mounted shifter and a hill-hold feature, marketed as Grade Logic The design featured unibody construction, dual airbags, dual gloveboxes, dual zone heating and cooling with 20 percent greater capacity than an Accord's system (overhead rear fan-speed adjustment ... Story
When we long trips we remove the middle seats or tuck in the back seats which help us to play and sleep when we go long drives.it is always fun to have more space.
Pros
The Odyssey offered power sliding doors which were standard on the EX trims, but not available on the LX trims. The Odyssey kept the fold-into-the-floor rear seat, an innovation adopted by many other minivans. The van continued to receive upgrades, such as offering both VHS and DVD-based entertainment systems. There was also an available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System, introduced in 2000, which became the first navigation system ever offered in a minivan. The Odyssey also received a significant increase in power from 210 hp (157 kW) to 240 hp (179 kW) in 2001. Also added for 2002... (more)
Cons
The 4-speed automatic transmission in 1999 to 2001 models had serious problems with transmission durability. Honda responded to the problems by extending the warranty on the transmission on U.S.A. '99-'01 models to 7 years or 100,000 miles (160,900 km).

I purchased a used Honda Odyssey three years ago and have only had to change the oil and tires in the past three years. It always starts without issue, from 100+ degree days in the California desert to snowing mornings visiting family in Idaho. We have driven from California to Idaho and back in less than a week with no mechanical difficulties. The seats are comfortable. The seating can configure so we can load a full Christmas tree in the back by laying all the seats down or put three car seats next to each other for visiting family. The separate temperature controls keep the women warm and the kids cool in the back. It is a great vehicle for a great price.
Story
We live on the California coast and were thrilled to realize we can roll the windows down on the large side doors so we can stick our heads out the window to watch dolphins playing in the surf as we drive down the 101. We were also able to watch the fiesta parade with the windows down while the baby slept in his car seat.
Pros
The seating can configure so we can load a full Christmas tree in the back by laying all the seats down or put three infant car seats next to each other for visiting family.. The separate temperature controls keep the women warm and the kids cool in the back.
Cons
The only negative is that the automatic sliding door is starting to stick and may take pushing the button twice to open. First world problems!

We enjoyed this dealership because the buying process was so easy. When you first arrive at the dealership you don't feel like you're walking into a shark tank. The atmosphere of the dealership was nice, relaxed and peaceful. Our salesman was great and professional. The buying process was simple, our salesman gave a good fair price for the Honda Civic that we wanted. After agreeing on a price for the car, we did some paperwork and the car was ours. Real easy real smooth process for buying a car. I would recommend Ocean Honda of San Juan Capistrano to anyone.

I had previously been to many other used car lots prior to purchasing this vehicle, however I was offput by the poor customer service and apparent lack of care put into their cars. This dealership clearly took care of their used cars, and were very friendly and not very pushy when it came time to purchase.
