This is a compact car with fog light feature, a plus in an always foggy San Francisco Coastal Area. This is a rather economical model (i.e. entry level) where most of the added features were sold separately. At the time of purchase, there were a shortage of supply from Honda's Japanese manufacturing site and a wait list if custom color was picked. I had to visited several Honda dealerships in the Bay Area in order to purchase the car I wanted. The insurance quote for this car is incredibly lower than similar compact size cars in the same price range because of it anticipated safety features. It has very good fuel mileage, decent truck size with ability to flip down the rear seats for additional cargo area. The potential drawback is that rear cargo view is open, so no valuable should be... (more)
Story
This car has a child safety feature, meaning that until the driver unlocks the door, nobody can open their doors to get out. This is handy when you need to be the first to get out of the car before your passengers.
Pros
Fog lights. Compact Size. Good price. Customizable features. Good insurance rate. Reasonable mileage for fuel efficiency.
Cons
Already replaced battery under warranty. Recalled air bags. Easily rusty wheels.

I just love this car. It's small and living in a city, I'm able to find parking everywhere. It's also very spacious inside, much more than other cars I looked at the were about the same size. It gets great gas mileage and when researching to buy a new or used car, it holds its value. All the seats inside the car go flat easily so I have a lot of room if I buy something big or need to haul a bunch of stuff.
Story
I live in a very popular neighborhood and parking can be difficult but I almost never park more than a block away from home because there are a few spots that are really small and my car fits in perfectly.
Pros
The size of the car (length) The spaciousness inside the car The gas mileage
Cons
The stereo system/lack of gps (I bought the stock version) It'd be nicer if it gained speed quicker

The dealership is staffed by incredibly helpful people. After graduating college and landing a well-paying job, I decided it was time to get a new car, as I had been driving a 2003 Accord until then and it was due to die. You know, because of college stuff. Anyway, I was wondering where to go and then my parents said Honda of Pasadena. I remember getting our Accord then which was passed down to me, I remember us getting other cars from there over the years. That was until us children grew older and my parents decided it was then safe to buy expensive luxury cars. You know, kids will be kids and destroy everything. . . Anyway, the staff made me feel welcome and were very considerate to help me. They didn't care about getting their commission, they just wanted to help a guy out.

I am a slow shopper when it comes to big purchases. The salesman who helped me at this dealership was very patient, courteous and professional during the almost two month process. I looked at and test drove several cars before finding the one I wanted to apply to purchase, visiting the dealership several times during those 2 months. When I finally settled on a choice, I got approved but still didn't leave with a car, wanting instead to think over my options one more night. My salesman new he'd be off when I came back the next day and he would have to split the commission with whoever ended up helping me upon my return but he wasn't ugly about it at all and personally made arrangements for the person who'd function in his stead to meet me and finalize the sale.
