The Honda pilot is a nice ride. It has 8 seats, more than any other car! The Pilot is the winner for power and torque, and it remains one of the smoothest and most pleasant powercars in this arena. The five-speed automatic transmission in the Pilot feels a slightly indecisive under lighter loads, but it smooths out and shifts quickly when you need to move rapidly. The Pilot does have quite a bit more durability built in than the typical car. It lets me get out on the trailhead and take the less-traveled road, as well as the long car ride to ski resorts. I can fit tons of stuff into the pilot. In the end, the Honda pilot makes me feel like a superhero. The handling was great, the 4WD helped me under the most icy and tenuous conditions, and the luxurious interior made me feel like a cele... (more)
Story
We once were bringing some of my children's friends home and there were so many we couldn't even fit them all in the 8 seats. Chuckling, we got a friend to help us take them to our house.
Pros
Great handling Nice interior Room for people Room for stuff Nice color Nice power and torque
Cons
Can easily get dirty Sometimes too large for urban environments

I love this car. I was looking for a "mom car" without it actually looking like one. The space in the Honda Pilot is awesome. There is ample room for people to sit in the second and third rows, and the cargo space is still impressive, even with the third-row seating up. Also, I love the built-in DVD player. I opted for that over the navigation system, and it has been extremely helpful in entertaining the kids while we are on longer car trips. For the driver side of it, it's smooth, quiet, and still picks up speed pretty quickly. My favorite part is the sun roof. Also, it took about a week before I let my husband drive it. I wish that it had a little bit better gas mileage, but coming from my previous car (a tiny little Scion xA), no SUV on the market was going to compare to what that o... (more)
Pros
Sunroof, space, and DVD player.
Cons
No media screen on the car display. Gas mileage is less than what I would have liked.

The salesman that we purchased from was the same guy we had used for a previous transaction. I believe we purchased my parent's car from the same salesperson. He was incredibly gracious and put the customer first. He was an old retired CHP officer, so he had some personable stories. He didn't pressure us at all and when we bought from him, he gave us a small sticker that we put on our license that he said would help get us out of tickets if we were ever pulled over by the CHP.

They had a huge selection. I wasn't sure what or if I even was going to buy anything when I walked on the lot, they did their job. The gave me a pretty good deal on the Honda, I can't be upset about it. They don't pressure you a lot either. I had plenty of time make a decision, I didn't feel rushed at all.
