2006 Nissan Sentra - It is extremely reliable, strong and durable. Roomy for a sedan and with a very smooth design.

I love my Nissan. It is a beautiful black with a smooth and soft inside. Doors are sturdy and the seats can take a beating. It runs like a race car. The only thing I dislike about it is that it does not run uphills or accelerate as quickly as other cars. Overall, I would highly recommend this vehicle. In fact, I can see it driving just as well for at least another decade. There have been very few issues with it. Standard maintenance is relatively cheap and it has got a really beautiful engine under the hood. The trunk is also very roomy and it has a speaker. It is of great use during BBQs at the beach.
Story
I drive in a city with a lot of careless drivers. In more than one occasion, the maneuverability of the car has saved me from awkward or dangerous situations. I basically trust how it handles with my life.
Pros
The most positive things about this vehicle include the color, the stamina of the car (I feel like I can drive it forever. It was really great MPG for its age) and how smoothly it drives. Everything is sensitive enough from the brakes to the wheel. I feel like I am fully in control when I drive it.
Cons
Some negative things include the lack of fast acceleration. It just does not go from zero to sixty in three seconds. This can be a problem when you want to go fast, fast. It also does not take hills well. The speed will drop ten or fifteen miles per hour if you are not careful.

1998 Nissan Sentra - Unreliable but cheap.

The 1998 Sentra is a vehicle that shows its age with its mediocre GA16DE engine. The GXE trim does not sport the much more popular SR20 engine. The interior is reasonable comfortable for what it is. The road noise is quite loud. The stock speakers are what you'd expect of such an old vehicle and required an immediate upgrade to more modern standards. The engine tended to leak oil around the valve cover gasket regardless of how many times it was replaced. Parts would regularly fail, such as the Idle Air Control Valve, Mass Airflow Sensor, and Throttle Position Sensor. Research shows these parts commonly become an issue with this vehicle. Fuel economy, when parts affecting emissions -- like the ones above -- are running properly, is around a respectable 30 miles per gallon. It was cheap,... (more)
Story
One day, I traveled to the beach with the car. It was funny how this little engine was chugging up the hill overlooking the ocean. Its profile against the sunset was hilarious but warming.
Pros
Fuel economy is 30 miles per gallon. The car is cheap to buy if you're strapped for cash.
Cons
Engine performance is lacking, and hills are very difficult to climb at a respectable speed. Road noise is very loud with little to no isolation from the environment. Interior comfort is low due to upholstery quality and climate control performance. Ride smoothness is rough. Transmissions experience some jerkiness at higher mileage.

There weren't a bunch of car salesmen crowding around the entrance like starving birds of prey, and the salesman I met with didn't make me feel pressured to buy anything. He just wanted to find something that would actually meet my needs.
