Restless. Rebellious. Ready. All of the power, none of the excess: the 2 Series is a true driver’s BMW. Whether you choose the renowned agility, sportiness, and safety of the 230i coupe, or the high-performance evolution of the M240i, the road to rebellion is yours to rule
Story
The BMW Z4 is available in India only as a convertible. It is on sale in two variants - sDrive35i and sDrive35i DPT. Both variants are powered by the same 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which produces 306PS of power and 400Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission and power is sent to the rear wheels only
Pros
There’s no secret to the 2 Series’ popularity. The iconic design of both coupe and convertible styles make the 230i a driver’s dream. And the ultimate expression, the 335-hp M240i Coupe, sprints from 0-60 mph in just 4.2 seconds when equipped with xDrive, and handles like a true track star with variable sport steering.
Cons
BMW has showcased its next-generation BMW Z4 Roadster Concept at the Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance. With the new BMW VISION NEXT 100 design philosophy, the roadster sheds the traditional look of the Beemer and instead, adorns a new, refreshing look. It is expected to hit the production lines by next year

The 230i is a wonderful driver's car. The turbocharged four cylinder pulls fabulously given the car's small frame and, when put in Sport mode, really shows its power. The chassis is fabulously balanced and does everything right on a windy road. The interior is luxurious, advanced and user friendly, and the seats provide excellent support. Exterior styling is beautiful and remains consistent with BMW's lineage with modern edge. Even the trunk is extremely functional given the small size. Fuel economy is good given the performance. Safety ratings are excellent. The only major downside is the limited cabin space but is to be expected for any coupe.
Story
Taking the car up a mountain road to get to a vacation location. I got to experienced the power and the chassis show off their stuff while remaining comfortable and entertained by the interior quality.
Pros
Fun to drive, beautiful aesthetics, and lots of well-integrated tech. Excellent safety ratings. Fuel economy is good given the performance. Versatile performance with different driving modes.
Cons
Small cabin space, especially for rear seat passengers. Some of the optional packages are necessary to get the expected driving experience for a newer car, but significantly increase the price. Electronic steering leaves something to be desired.

BMWs have been named as one of the world's most unreliable cars in the world along with Volkswagens, Audis and the other German brands. Toyotas and their luxury brand Lexus are named the world's most reliable cars.
Story
Be careful if the dealer asks for your social security number before they allow you to take a test drive "for security reasons." Really, they just want the number so that they can pull your credit reports while you are out on the drive.
Pros
BMW AG and Porsche unveiled a charging station that can jolt electric vehicles with enough power to drive 100 kilometers (62 miles) in less than three minutes, pushing ahead of Tesla Inc. in the race to make battery-powered cars more convenient.
Cons
Yes, BMWs are awesome cars, however like most vehicles, they lose their value quickly. Obviously, the more expensive the vehicle, the longer it takes for the value to depreciate.
