Great SUV! Very comfortable commuter with more options than I know what to do with. Equipped with a heated steering wheel, which is always a plus! No delay in power delivery thanks to the V8 twin turbo power plant, but also very quiet and nimble when need be. Aggressive seat bolsters that keep you planted in when driving spirited :). Equipped with plenty of storage for long trips and a third-row seat when you plan to tailgate. Towing capacity is stellar and has no problems hauling around a couple of dirt bikes, and ATV's on our trailer. Fantastic quality inside and out and when you close the doors after getting in and out, it makes a deep thud. Bright Adaptive headlights that make driving and visibility excellent, especially at night. If you're looking to buy an SUV that has ... (more)
Story
Camping in Maine, Full load every year and doesn't skip a beat. Road tripping across the east coast of the United States to our favorite beaches.
Pros
Build quality is superior to competitors, great power and comfort rolled all into one package.
Cons
You may have to stop at the gas pump more that you would like :).

The best about this car is that it performs just the way you would imagine. It won't disappoint you. The speed and horsepower are two things that stand out for the similar type of SUV. But because of high performance, it eats gas like crazy. I would say that I need to fill up at least 1-1.5 times every week just driving around town. Parts are top quality, and you can feel the German technology at its best.
Story
I live in a rural desert region, and my family and I use this to go camping a few times a year pulling trailer with two big four wheelers on it. Since this SUV is so powerful, it can go amazingly fast even with the heavy trailer attached to it. We will explore around the mountain and go on a very bumpy road and kids just love it!
Pros
Speed and stability even at a high speed! It's amazing how stable it is on the freeway. It only take four seconds or so from 0 to 60 mph. Fun car to drive on a long stretch of road! It comes with a set of very wide tires, which looks like a race car, and it can drive very smoothly on curvy roads or in all weather conditions. Seat warmer, keyless feature, leather seats are all nice add-ons.
Cons
Although it drives really well most of the time, it breaks down quite often. Since I purchased it three years ago, I had to fix engine three times on top of many more smaller repairs. It costs a lot of money to maintain as well. Just for the oil change, I usually take it to the local BMW dealership, and they charge about $500 every time (one–two times/year). Also, due to it's high performance, it requires you to put the best quality gas, which will cost you more to drive around.

There are no interior rattles and I have driven 30,000 miles. The interior materials feel high quality and have held up well over a long time. The key electronic components, including the stereo and navigation system have not given me challenges.
Story
Car race has always been my fancy. I remembered outrunning all my friends that drove along when we were going for camping.
Pros
I like the style of the car. It looks contemporary. Its performance is outstanding. Its speed is phenomenal and incredible.
Cons
Its fuel consumption and cost of maintenance is too much.
